Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are considerable number of peoples who argues on the pros and cons of flying excessively every year. Ofcourse, the aviation technology is one of the greatest acheivement mankind has achieved. Using air, one can save easily save a lot amount of time and skip the uneccessary hassles.
The aviation indsutry is one of the busiest industry because of the wide range of consumers who travels across cities or to different countries. Without any doubt, it's easy to admit that aviation industry is a top notch service that skips the long travel routes and provides travellers a comfort zone. The other commute alternatives includes buses, trains, or cars which relatively takes a lot of time.
I am lean towards the idea that there won't be much difference in the enivironment if people takes less flights. Having less number of passengers won't cancel the flight, and since its still going to fly, it's better to have an ideal number of people in the flight. I understand that there are several disadvantages like environmental damage caused by aviation industry, but by stopping using aviation services people would choose other alternative to travel. The car travel, bussess or train might have less environment damage but in the long run it has same effects as flighwillts.
People will opt to travel through other alternatives and this doesn't stop the process of environmental damage. What would be great is asking the goverments or airport authorities to start programs that are focused on overcoming the enivronmental loss caused by aviation industry. The damage could be reparied by focusing more on plantation to keep the weather pleasant.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially. While the writer attempts to discuss whether the environmental benefits of reducing air travel outweigh the disadvantages, the position is not always clearly sustained throughout the essay. For instance, the introduction touches upon the benefits of aviation, and the body paragraphs present some relevant thoughts on alternative transport and environmental impact, but these ideas remain limited and under-developed. The reasoning that reducing passengers will not cancel a flight is simplistic, and the argument lacks well-developed examples or deep exploration. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to present a fully developed position with well-supported arguments addressing both sides of the prompt thoroughly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation with the use of paragraphs, but the essay lacks a clear overall progression. The movement from discussing the convenience of aviation to arguing about environmental impacts feels somewhat disjointed. Cohesive devices are used minimally or repetitively, such as the repetitive use of transitions or referencing that is not always entirely clear, exemplified by vague links between sentences like 'The car travel, bussess or train might have less environment damage but in the long run it has same effects as flighwillts.' To improve, the writer should ensure a smoother logical flow between sentences and paragraphs by employing a wider, more accurate range of cohesive devices and ensuring clear paragraph themes.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic points. There are noticeable errors in spelling, word form, and word choice that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of this include spelling errors like 'acheivement', 'uneccessary', 'indsutry', 'enivironment', 'bussess', and 'reparied', as well as collocation issues such as 'considerable number of peoples' and 'takes less flights'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, but frequent inaccuracies prevent the lexical resource from achieving a higher standing. Enhancing precision, mastering standard collocations, and checking spelling carefully are essential steps for future improvement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside a few attempts at complex forms that are often faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors that can cause difficulty, such as subject-verb agreement issues in 'There are considerable number of peoples who argues', article misuse, and prepositional or structural errors in 'I am lean towards the idea' and 'if people takes less flights'. Punctuation and word forms within grammatical patterns also show persistent inaccuracy. To progress, the writer should focus on strengthening control over basic sentence patterns, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and correctly forming complex grammatical structures with fewer errors.
