Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many people are decided to fly less and reduce the travels. While stop travelling through air can cause difficult problem for individual and the businesses. I believe that the positive effects on environments are much more important to outweigh the disadvantages.
On the one hand, reducing air travelling causes many disadvantages for the people and the company. For individual travelling through air is the fastest way to meet the people who lived far away from our love ones. If the individual is unable to meet them, they might feel sense of disconnected for there love ones. For business, particularly tourism which heavily rely on the airplane travels specially in the holiday travels. If the travelling is reduce it cause financial losses, business closure and job losses. Additionally, the international companies need planes to move goods exchange and meet the partners for important face to face meeting.
On the other hand, saving the environment is also important the the individuals to save the planet for future. Furthermore, to travel airplanes burns huge amount of fuel, which emits the harmful carbon dioxide directly into the sky. This harmful gas catches the heat from the atmosphere and cause serious global warming to the environment. Which is very dangerous to the weather causing problems like flood and droughts. If millions of people choose to travels through ground or through train instead carbon emission will drop. This will be the most effective way to save the nature, clean air, water and to save the nature.
In conclusion, i think reducing the air travelling can cause problem for the people and the business , it might effects the economy. However, climatic effects will be the massive affects and dangerous to the world . The long term health is much important than short term travel comfort and business travel.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you acknowledge disadvantages for individuals and businesses but argue that environmental benefits are more important. You address both sides with relevant points, including family separation, tourism-related losses, emissions, and climate impacts. This covers the task well, and the examples show a sound understanding of the issue. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that reducing flights is “the most effective way to save the nature” would be stronger with a comparison to other measures or a specific example. The business effects are also listed, but not explored in detail. Develop the reasoning behind your main claims and explain more explicitly why the long-term environmental gains outweigh the economic and personal costs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for disadvantages and benefits, and a conclusion that restates your position. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. This gives the essay a coherent progression. Some connections within paragraphs are less smooth, however. The sentence beginning “Which is very dangerous” is a fragment and does not connect cleanly to the previous explanation. The environmental paragraph also repeats “save the nature,” while the conclusion introduces “health” without developing that point earlier. Link each consequence more explicitly and use referencing carefully so that each sentence builds on the previous one rather than repeating or abruptly adding an idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “carbon dioxide,” “global warming,” “financial losses,” and “job losses,” so the reader can understand the main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “face to face meeting.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which limits precision: “air travelling,” “the holiday travels,” and “save the nature” do not sound natural in context. Some word forms are also incorrect, as in “disconnected” where a noun is needed, and “effects” where the intended meaning is a verb. Aim to learn common word partnerships for this topic and vary repeated terms such as “travel” and “environment.” More accurate collocations would make your argument clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If millions of people choose…” and a contrast introduced by “While.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “Many people are decided,” “If the travelling is reduce it cause,” and “the international companies need planes to move goods exchange.” These involve verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. There are also incomplete or poorly joined sentences, such as “Which is very dangerous to the weather,” and punctuation problems around sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate clauses before adding complexity: check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and whether each sentence has a complete main clause. Greater accuracy in these patterns would make your ideas easier to understand.
