Student answer (Band 4.5)
Some people have decided to reduce the number to times they fly every year or stop flying altogether. I am going to discuss this topic further in detail in the upcoming paragraph.
Firstly we will talk about people who think by reducing their fly time every year can give advantage to buisnesses and individuals. they think if they dont travel much other people will benefit from it but they dont know it will not work like that they also think traveling alone would make it better there would be no rush on the plane and plane seats will be cheaper.
In my opinion it would not effect the other people and individuals. The main reason of this circumstane is that people in the world prefer plane in the place of any other transport because its is very comfortable and it is way faster than any other covinient because plane is flying in the air thier is no traffic jams and it speed is extremely fast than any road vehicle.
People will continue to book seats in the plan it is not the matter of some people if they stop traveling the system of the planes will not crash they will remain running even after some people stop buying tickets. Now what if many people stop buying ticket yess it will help a little but not too much because an air plane is very expensive it's petrol is very expensive and also he mantainance is very hugh costing but if i am seeing a advantage in it. It should be better travel because there are not much people on the plane. I think thats not worth it

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You make a relevant attempt to discuss the consequences of people flying less, and you give a position near the end: “I think thats not worth it.” However, the response does not clearly answer whether environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Most of the discussion focuses on passenger numbers, comfort, ticket prices and airline costs; the environmental benefits, such as lower emissions, are not explained. The opening also promises a discussion without stating your view, and the ideas about benefits to individuals and businesses remain unclear or unsupported. To improve, state your position directly in the introduction, compare environmental gains with specific effects on travellers and businesses, and support each main point with a clear explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic paragraph structure, and words such as “Firstly,” “In my opinion” and “Now” signal some movement between points. However, the ideas are not arranged in a clear line of argument: the first body paragraph introduces supposed benefits to businesses and individuals, while the next shifts to why people prefer planes, without showing how this supports your answer. The final paragraph combines airline costs, continued operations, passenger comfort and your conclusion, so the central point is difficult to follow. Some links are also unclear, including “they also think traveling alone would make it better.” Organise the response around a small number of connected points, use each paragraph for one main idea, and make references such as “they” explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “travel,” “comfortable,” “traffic jams,” “seats” and “maintenance,” so the general subject is usually recognisable. However, the range is repetitive and often imprecise, which makes some ideas hard to interpret. Phrases such as “reduce their fly time,” “convenient” where you mean a mode of transport, and “better travel” do not express the intended meaning naturally. There are also frequent spelling errors, for example “buisnesses,” “circumstane,” “thier” and “hugh.” Build a more accurate topic vocabulary—especially for emissions, environmental impact, airline revenue and travel alternatives—and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional idea beginning “Now what if many people stop buying ticket.” However, sentence structures are mostly basic, and longer attempts are often difficult to follow because clauses are joined without clear punctuation or grammatical control. Examples include “people who think by reducing their fly time every year can give advantage” and “because its is very comfortable and it is way faster,” where the relationships between ideas are unclear. There are also recurring errors with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “an air plane,” “people … prefer plane,” and the run-on opening of the second paragraph. Practise constructing clear subject–verb sentences, then add subordinate clauses with accurate punctuation.
