Student answer (Band 4.5)
Few people decided not to fly altogeather, while some of them reduces the number of visit they had by air on an yearly bases. Their are several advantages of this motive which clearly outweigh the disadvantage, as it has some visual effects on our climate.
On the onehand, the manufacturing of airplanes require alot of materials which is obtained or extracted directly from forest . As we know that body of an airplane is buit with different type of natural products such as steel, plastic, rubber or even wood. As passanger of commercial flight increases with the passage of time, companies focus diverted on constructing new airplanes more and more by cutting down trees, mainly for wood, rubber and different products. which has a direct impact on our environment. For example floor and seat of airline is buit with high quality material which is only yeild through specific type of plant and to obtain it that plant need to be cut.
On the other hand, flying yearly can also be benificial for reducing popullotion

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a position—that the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages—and begin to explain how aircraft production may harm the environment. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the discussion focuses on materials used to build planes, rather than explaining the benefits of reducing flights, and the final sentence about pollution is unfinished. The disadvantages for individuals and businesses are not discussed, so the comparison required by the prompt is missing. The example about aircraft seats and flooring is relevant to manufacturing but is not clearly connected to the effect of fewer flights. The response is also 76 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop the argument. To improve, address both sides and support a clear comparison with complete, relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening states a view, and the body uses “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” to signal contrasting points. This gives the reader some sense of structure. However, the second side is only a fragment, so the argument does not progress to a conclusion or a balanced comparison. The first body paragraph also moves from aircraft materials to passenger growth and then to seats and flooring without clearly showing how these points support the central claim about reducing flights. Some linking is awkward, and the sentence beginning “which has a direct impact” is disconnected from the preceding sentence. Develop each paragraph around one clear point and use links that show the relationship between evidence and your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “manufacturing,” “extracted,” “commercial flight,” and “environment,” which helps communicate the general subject. There is also some effort to use more specific terms, such as “natural products” and “specific type of plant.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning harder to follow: “altogeather,” “popullotion,” and “yeild” are examples. Several phrases are also unnatural, including “on an yearly bases” and “companies focus diverted.” The range is limited, with repeated references to materials and plants, and some terms are imprecise. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for discussing emissions, air travel, and environmental impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response includes both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, for example the sentence beginning “As we know that body of an airplane…” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but control is inconsistent. Subject–verb agreement errors occur in “the manufacturing of airplanes require” and “passanger … increases,” while articles and plurals are also unreliable, as in “body of an airplane” and “different type.” The sentence beginning “which has a direct impact” is a fragment, and the final sentence is incomplete, preventing the second point from being expressed. Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention, particularly around “which” after a full stop. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
