Student answer (Band 4.5)
Firstly, People decide to reduce the number of time they fly every year or to stop flying altogether. In my view we have to decide to do reduce the number of time they fly every years because when we are stop flying than we can't go anywary its comeing a bigest problem. However, we have to reduce the number of time it is benifity for as.
On the one hand, when we reduce the number of time they fly every year than benefits for environment because when we fly airplane daily base than its became pollutions than harmfull for birds and humman. Forexmple we give to fly every years to long time than its became airpollution its harmfull for environment and hummun because of its coming more kinds of disease it is very dangerous. we have control the airline it is very important to safe environment.
On the other hand, When we reduce the number of time than threr are dissdvantage like our airplane are not more fly than ther no more airplane are avilable than our airplane set are limitde it's became high price.
Forexmple, when airline set are became high price than poor people are can't afforte. However, they have to go in a bus, it's main problems poor people are can't travel to outcountry and businesses also some time faceing this problem. Moreover, our basci need also be high price because we can't bring out of country like food, cloth, bick, car and other kinds of this . after that we have to face lot of problem.
conclusion, In my opinion right way is reduce the number of time because it's benefits for environment it control the airpoulltion. lot of problem be solve. we have time to mantain airplane.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a relevant opinion that reducing flights benefits the environment, and you also recognise disadvantages for travellers and businesses. The environmental paragraph mentions pollution, harm to people and birds, and disease; the opposing paragraph discusses higher fares and difficulty for poorer travellers. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says people “can't go anywhere” if they stop flying, then says reducing flights is beneficial, while the conclusion repeats the environmental benefit without clearly weighing it against the disadvantages. Several claims, such as reduced flights making basic goods more expensive, are asserted rather than explained. Develop the comparison and support it with a specific example. The response addresses the task only partially, and 9 words copied from the prompt were not counted in the stated total.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing sides, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first paragraph moves from stopping flights to being unable to travel and then to environmental benefits without a clear link. Connectors such as “However,” “Moreover,” and “after that” are sometimes used mechanically or do not show the precise relationship between ideas. References such as “it” and “they” are also unclear in places. Use one main point per paragraph, explain each point in sequence, and make links between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “environment,” “air pollution,” “disadvantage,” and “businesses,” and you try to express consequences such as higher prices and disease. However, the range is limited and repeated phrases such as “number of time” and “problem” make the discussion imprecise. Frequent spelling and word-choice errors—including “pollutions,” “harmfull,” “afforte,” and “airpoulltion”—can make meaning harder to understand. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “airplane set are high price” and “control the airline.” Build a small set of accurate topic phrases, such as “flight frequency,” “airline fares,” and “carbon emissions,” and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with “because,” “when,” and “than,” showing an effort to connect causes and results. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, so the reader must work to interpret several points. For example, “when we are stop flying than we can't go anywary” has an incorrect verb form and clause structure, while “when we reduce the number of time they fly every year than benefits for environment” lacks a clear grammatical subject. Agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries are also frequently inaccurate. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; check verb forms and punctuation in each sentence.
