Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the modern age, most people tend to travel by air. However, most individuals have planned to limit the number of times they travel by plane each year or to completely limit the travelling. Although, this planning has certain environmental advantages but it will have substantial drawbacks for individuals and businesses. This essay will discuss the advantages and diadvantages in details.
The limitation in travel of individuals by air or to completely stop travelling could have certain environmental and economic advantages. Mostly, high income families , diplomats or individuals use private jets or planes for travelling from city to city or from one country to another. However, the planes consume litres of fuels then it is used in average number of automobiles fo travelling purpose. Also, the planes release hazardous gases in the atmosphere that cause air pollution and resulting in acidic rain. It would then have a harmful effects on all living beings. Therefore, the reduction in jets usage for travel could have a sustainble environmental benefits and less fuel cosumption would lead to economic benefits.
On the other hand, if we discuss the disadvantages of limiting in areoplanes usage, it counld affect various businesses and individuals. As mostly enterprenuers need to travel to different countries for marketing of their products and for other purposes which cannot be possible through automobiles, trains. Also, most individual travel to different countries for studies and employment purpose. If they would completely limit the air travel it could lead to have adverse affect on their businesses, emplyment, and studies.
In my opinion, if we adapt sustainable approach, it could benefit us in both econmic and environmental way. Individuals should travel by air on certain circumstances to other countries when they have very crucial tasks to perform or important meetings. For city to city travel, other modes of transportaion should be used.
In conclusion, it is advantageous for nations development if individuals limit travelling by plane each year. This planning has certain environmental and economic advantages if we adapt the travelling in a modest way .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall position: reducing flights has environmental benefits, but a balanced approach is preferable because some travel is important. The discussion of aircraft emissions and fuel use is relevant, as are the examples of business travel, employment and study. However, the environmental case is more developed than the disadvantages, which are mostly listed rather than explained. For instance, you say entrepreneurs need to travel for marketing, but do not show why alternatives such as online meetings may be insufficient or how reduced travel would affect businesses. Your conclusion also shifts towards saying reduced flying is advantageous without directly weighing whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Develop that comparison more explicitly and support key claims with specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for environmental benefits and disadvantages, a personal position, and a conclusion. The progression is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help readers understand the direction of the argument. This already provides a coherent framework, but some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Although … but” combines two contrasting linkers, while “This planning” is an imprecise reference to the decision to reduce flying. The final opinion paragraph partly repeats earlier points rather than advancing the comparison. To strengthen cohesion, use linking expressions more selectively, make references explicit, and connect each example directly to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “environmental advantages,” “hazardous gases,” “air pollution,” “entrepreneurs,” and “employment.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic language. However, inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “diadvantages,” “sustainble,” “cosumption,” and “emplyment” contain spelling errors, while “limit the travelling” and “adapt the travelling in a modest way” are awkward expressions. Some wording is also imprecise, such as “economic benefits” when the explanation mainly concerns reduced fuel use. Build accuracy by learning common topic collocations and checking spelling and word forms; this will make your ideas clearer without requiring more complicated vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “if we adapt sustainable approach” and a relative clause in “gases … that cause air pollution.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main ideas are generally understandable. However, errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation recur. For example, “Although … but” creates a faulty contrast structure; “It would then have a harmful effects” has an agreement problem; and “if we adapt sustainable approach” is missing an article. The sentence beginning “Mostly, high income families…” also has awkward punctuation and an unclear relationship between its clauses. Practise accurate complex sentences and check articles, singular/plural agreement, and clause boundaries during revision.
