Student answer (Band 5.5)
now a days there is considerable decrease in people's numbers travelling by aeroplane yet they have decided to diminish the air travel year by year or they are thinking to eradicate air travel. There are some positive effects of this trend on the ecosystem, while the negative consequence should not be overlooked.
Firstly, reducing air travel can result in improving environmental conditions. As most of the harmful smokes are released by aeroplanes as the the result of consumption of fuel by large engines. If these machines will not prefer to fly in sky so it will left great influence on it because no harmful emission will occur. For instance, regular flying of plans demage increase air pollution which result in several threat and dimimshing their numbers will definatly overcome these threats. However, it will have some financial benefits as these types of travels are so costly and distrub the budject. so by not using them can save some money which can be used in other usefull purposes
However, individuals may lose comfort level by abolishing the use of planes because journeys through them are usually very comfortable by having comfortable seats and no noise pollution. But, this may not be available in local travels like by bus. for instance, in a private car one cannot sleep because of sorrounding noise. Moreover, it may disturb the individual's business. As air travel
provides fast access to desire locations which cannot be provided by road travel.if a person wants to attend an important meeting and he decides to use car intsead of traveling by plane he may not reach it there in time . as a result this may cause million of loss by not having business deal
in conclusion, ecosystem can receive great amount of benefit in case of reduction of plane journies because of no disturbig gases however it will create problems in business sector as they require faster access to accomplish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a relevant overall view: reducing flights benefits the environment, while restrictions can affect comfort and business. The points about aircraft emissions and the time needed to reach meetings are pertinent. However, your position on whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages is not fully clear. The introduction says there are positive effects but that disadvantages should not be overlooked, and the conclusion mentions both without directly weighing them or stating which side is stronger. Several ideas also need fuller explanation: for example, the environmental claim that emissions would not occur if planes did not fly is broad, and the business example would be more convincing if you explained how reduced flying affects companies beyond one missed meeting. State your judgement clearly and support it with more specific reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for environmental benefits and disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main contrast, and transitions such as “Firstly,” “However,” and “Moreover” signal changes in direction. At times, though, the links feel mechanical or the relationship between ideas is unclear. The sentence about saving money appears within the environmental-benefits paragraph, although it is an individual financial advantage, and the shift from comfort to business impact could be more clearly signposted. Some references, such as “these threats” and “it,” are not precise enough to make the intended meaning immediately clear. Group related points together and use clearer links between each claim and its explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “environmental conditions,” “harmful emissions,” “air pollution,” and “business deal.” However, the range is limited by repeated or imprecise expressions, and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “eradicate air travel” is too absolute for a discussion of reducing flights, while “disturb the budget” and “great influence on it” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “demage,” “dimimshing,” and “definatly,” which reduce clarity. Aim for accurate topic-specific phrases and check spelling carefully. Using a smaller number of well-controlled expressions would make your argument more precise than relying on ambitious but unsuitable wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If a person wants to attend an important meeting…” and clauses introduced by “because” and “while.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “If these machines will not prefer to fly… so it will left” has an incorrect conditional construction and verb form; “reducing air travel can result in improving” is also awkwardly structured. Several sentences run together, particularly the business example, where full stops and capital letters are needed. Practise forming accurate conditional sentences and separating complete ideas with correct punctuation before adding further complexity.
