Student answer (Band 5.0)
This types of issues are happening all over the world from past few years and it has been seen as a major issues for the Airlines and travel planners and there are myths created by the people or they influenced by the people who said many things for the better enviromental benefits. I personally think that the situation has many disadvantages in both and i will discuss on both with an example in below paragraphs.
Initially, the foremost disadvantage affects to the airlines and travel agents, who spent their days to arrange the family trips according to the clients and the situations were become terrible after post covid because most of the people cancelled their trips on the basis of the environment and nature issues.Eventually, it was the major loss for both the agents and the customers. For example; in 2022 the fake narrative was shared on social media that showed the airplane's fuel increases the effect of virus in the air, so far after that many countries airlines showed drastic decline in bookings.
Secondly, if somehow the people managed to reduce number of flying in planes then it will be the good news for those who actually wants to travel by the plane with low cost. The reason is finanical decrease; the tickets will be given on low prices as there are no many customers available. While The enormous issues will be faced by the airlines as they need to cut of their operational costs and it can impact on economical growth of countries as well on trades. At last, there are many small disadvantages also can be possible in these type of situation.
To conclude, I believe that the disadvantages are outwieght for the person and for businesses though and from past few years many jet engines have a softner which controls the chemical air comes from the engines and it was never the problem before.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a position—that the disadvantages outweigh the benefits—and discuss effects on airlines, travel agents, customers and national trade. However, the response only partially addresses the comparison in the question. Most of the discussion focuses on business losses and cheaper tickets, while the environmental benefits of flying less are not explained or weighed against those disadvantages. The example about a social-media claim concerning virus transmission is not clearly relevant to people reducing flights for environmental reasons, and the final claim about engine technology is not developed. To strengthen the response, explain how reduced flying could lower emissions, then compare that benefit directly with specific costs to individuals and businesses, supporting each point with relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Initially,” “Secondly” and “To conclude” make the broad structure visible. However, progression between ideas is limited: the first body paragraph moves from travel agents to post-COVID cancellations and then to a claim about virus transmission, without clearly connecting these points to the environmental issue. The second paragraph introduces cheaper tickets, then shifts to airline costs and national trade, so the relationship between the ideas is not consistently clear. Some linking phrases, including “At last,” do not accurately signal the point that follows. Organise each paragraph around one main argument and use clear references and transitions to show how each point supports your overall comparison.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “operational costs,” “economical growth,” “drastic decline in bookings” and “environmental benefits.” This gives you some relevant language for discussing travel and business. However, the range is limited by repeated general wording such as “issues,” “people” and “situation,” and several inaccurate choices or collocations make meaning less clear, for example “financial decrease,” “cut of their operational costs” and “softner.” Spelling errors such as “enviromental,” “finanical” and “outwieght” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of terms for emissions, demand and business impacts, and check whether each word naturally fits its context. This will make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “as,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors recur throughout. For example, “This types of issues are happening” has problems with agreement and number, while “the situations were become terrible” uses an incorrect verb form. Other examples include “who actually wants” after a plural noun and “there are no many customers,” where the sentence structure and quantifier are inaccurate. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly around sentence boundaries and after “For example.” These errors sometimes make the intended relationships difficult to follow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, past and present verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for one clear grammatical structure.
