Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believes that the cutting down the number taking flying or if possible we stop fly is benefits of our environment. I strongly believed that its directly impact our economy of whole world will stopped if happened . So I disagree about this thinking of some people.
Firstly, The major impact facing to import and export of goods for one place to another Because if fights are stop than ships routes for import or export became very difficult and so much delays facing by common people to purchased it. This could also increase the prices of consuming goods . So many emergency medical cases also suffering for life as well. Fights are more important to connected with whole world by air fly facilities . So many students go abroad to get better education which not possible without using air fly facilities. Moreover, people also do small or big businesses which only possible to do by using fights. For example, ABC company have well settled business of sports products which daily exported to various countries.
Although, I know that environment are very effected by pollution occur by air fly which I agree it as well but people can able to cut private vehicles and go office or work with using public transportation. People can also not cutting trees and grow more trees to make our environment clean and green.
Overall, we need to understand what we need to cut of or what is not possible stop it. Fight are important for generate economy and consumption of daily using good .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the disadvantages of reducing flights outweigh the environmental benefits, and you offer relevant points about trade, medical emergencies, education and business. However, the response only partly answers the comparison in the question: the environmental benefits are acknowledged briefly, while the disadvantages are asserted as major effects without explaining their scale or showing why they outweigh the benefits. Several examples, such as students studying abroad and the sports-products company, are introduced but not developed with specific consequences. To strengthen the response, compare both sides directly and explain the likely impact on individuals as well as businesses, rather than relying mainly on broad claims about the world economy.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting disadvantages, a paragraph acknowledging environmental concerns, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” “Although,” and “Overall” help signal the direction of the argument. However, progression within the main paragraph is difficult to follow because trade, medical cases, education and business are listed without clear links or prioritisation. Some connections are also unclear, particularly the shift from reduced flights to ships and the claim that goods would be difficult to purchase. The conclusion repeats the general position rather than drawing together the comparison. Group related points and use clearer cause-and-effect links to make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “import and export,” “public transportation,” “pollution,” and “emergency medical cases.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the message difficult to understand. For example, “fights” is repeatedly used where “flights” is intended, and “air fly facilities” is not a natural expression. Phrases such as “consuming goods” and “well settled business” also do not convey the intended meaning precisely. Aim to learn topic-specific collocations as complete phrases, such as “air freight,” “international trade,” and “established company,” and check spelling carefully, especially for key terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a concession beginning “Although,” and a conditional idea about what might happen if flights stopped. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent, and errors frequently make the intended meaning harder to follow. Examples include “Some people believes,” “if happened,” and “people can able to cut,” which show problems with agreement, clause construction and verb patterns. Articles and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, as in “the environment are” and the opening paragraph’s run-on phrasing. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using correct forms such as “if flights stopped” or “people could reduce.”
