Student answer (Band 5.5)
The ruduction of flying altogether or the number of times public fly every year can vary businessmans profit and can impact on individuals on a certain way while, this can plays an essential role for the environment development. I believe that the environmental benefits of this development outweigh the disadvantages for individuals and businesses because it can reduce pollution and protect natural resources in the long term.
Firstly, Reducing the amount of time people are flying in a year can solve different types of pullution and protect natural resources. However, it is our responsibility to keep our environment safe for social public. For example, planes run with fossile fuel like gas, and more natural resources it can save for future and reducing public can make less not only sound pollution but also air pollution. As a result, the environment will be improve and fuels will not waste more.
Secondly, Individuals and businesses have some impact on it. people may lost their job and some airline businesses can face drawback in their annual profit. For example, airline companies and businesses principle interest comes from their customers while, if customers avoid flying altogether can make a significant loss to their industry and air hostress or other employees may loss their job due to out of customer. Thus, it can make people jobless and fluctuate the income of airline industries.
In conclusion, I believe that individuals reduction of the fly in a year will hamper the local individuals and businesses but, rather than that it is more crucial for the environmental benefits of this development

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall position: environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages, and you address both environmental effects and consequences for people and businesses. The examples of fuel use, pollution, airline profits and possible job losses are relevant. However, the environmental points are only briefly explained, and the disadvantages paragraph focuses mainly on airlines rather than considering wider effects on individuals, such as reduced travel options. The conclusion repeats your position but does not weigh the two sides in much detail. The response is also 4 words below the required minimum; the 13 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation or specific example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The sequence from environmental benefits to economic disadvantages is logical, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined abruptly or repeated. For instance, the first body paragraph moves from responsibility to fuel, resources and pollution without clearly showing how each point connects. Some linking words are also used awkwardly, such as “However” where the sentence does not present a clear contrast. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each claim, explanation and example explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “natural resources,” “air pollution,” “annual profit” and “industry,” so the reader can identify the main subject of each paragraph. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument unclear. Examples include “public fly,” “solve different types of pollution,” “businesses principle interest” and “out of customer.” Spelling errors such as “ruduction,” “pullution,” “fossile” and “hostress” are also noticeable. These issues sometimes require the reader to infer your intended meaning. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing aviation and environmental impact, and check spelling and word combinations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause in the introduction and examples introduced with “For example.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. For example, “this can plays” has an incorrect verb form, while “people may lost their job” and “employees may loss their job” use incorrect forms after modal verbs. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “the environment will be improve” and the run-on construction beginning “For example, planes run…”. Practise modal verb patterns, subject–verb agreement and complete sentence punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
