Student answer (Band 5.5)

It has been observed that some individuals tend to alleviate the number of time travilng by plan every year or stop flying. there are myriad of advantageous as well as drawbacks for evrionments by reducing fly time for and businesses. Both the pros and cons will be elaborated in the ensuing paragraphs.

On the one hand, examining the positive side, the first common benefit is mitigate the greenhouse gases on the air, the airplans were the most producer of gas emissions and that affect our health, resulted in most of the population are ill with different diseases, for instance asthma and others health problems, alleviating fly hours it is an effective approach to have fresh atmosphere, in addition many traders will invest on local businsses and that lead to economic growth in every country. And they may rely on the developed and friendly ecosystem transportation to move the goods.

On the other hand, there are several negative aspects deserve to be mentioned. Reduce fly time may become a problem for exporting goods, food, clothes , that means a loot of industrial countries will be effected of lossing costumers from abroad. It is also possible to say that this issue will deteriorate international cooperation between nations same as north korean,In addition pericely in the sector of tourism most of the people and families tend to fly for vacation each summer, with this idea they do not have others option.

To conclude, there are both merits and demarits of reducing the number of fly time, nevertheless from my perspctive it is more advantageous because it will alleviate the greenhouse gases and rely on local proudactions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question and state a position in the conclusion: reducing flights is “more advantageous” because it can reduce greenhouse gases and encourage local production. The environmental benefit is relevant, and you also mention possible effects on exports, international cooperation and tourism. However, the discussion only partly answers whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages: the comparison is asserted rather than explained, and several points are unclear or insufficiently supported. For example, the claim that airlines are the “most producer” of emissions and the reference to North Korea need explanation or a relevant example. Develop fewer points more fully, and show directly how the environmental gains compare with the costs to individuals and businesses.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several claims are joined into long sentences, and the links between them are not always clear. For instance, the discussion moves from emissions and health to traders and economic growth without explaining the connection. Some transitions, such as “In addition,” are repeated or introduce ideas that do not clearly follow. Use shorter, more focused sentences, organise each paragraph around one main point, and make references such as “this issue” precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “greenhouse gases,” “economic growth,” “international cooperation” and “ecosystem transportation.” These choices show an effort to discuss environmental and commercial effects, but frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms or collocations sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “travilng,” “evrionments,” “demarits,” “lossing costumers” and “local proudactions.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “alleviate the number of time” and “most producer of gas emissions.” Check spelling carefully and choose precise, natural combinations of words. Building a reliable set of expressions for emissions, trade and tourism would help you communicate your ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “that,” but control is inconsistent. Several sentences contain faulty structures that make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “the first common benefit is mitigate” needs a grammatical construction such as “one benefit is that it mitigates,” while “that affect our health, resulted in…” combines clauses without a clear structure. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “the airplans were the most producer … and that affect,” and punctuation is often missing after sentence openings or between clauses. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses and correct punctuation.
