Student answer (Band 4.5)

some people fly less to help environment.I think it is beneficial for the development of environment and

One main benefit is less air pollution. when people are not taking interest in fly so they provide best way for the air pollution reduction. Mnay people are preferd to used vheciles beacuse it cost is very low and have a comfortable zone for traveling. Although, when people avoid to book air tickets it is beneficial for environment as well as good climate. For instance when citizens are prefering the road transport like bus and bicycles these are best for the maintance of air pollution.

There are several disadvantages for individuals or bussinesses because citizens face many difficulties due to the reduction of aeroplane tarvels. However, individuals who are travelling to abraod for many purposes so they avail fly travel facilities because it is necessary for the development of business. For example some people spend alot of time in other coutries during vacation with family because thay have an idea about abroad places which are peacful for stay. Fly together cause a harmful impact on enviroment due to air poluution as well as disturb the climate condition. when people book more tickets of aeroplane it mean thay creats a huge problem for population.

In conclusion, according to my opinion aeroplane provides a comfortable but also dangerous for enviroment because the flight release the harmful carbon and other chemicals. Air pollution cause harmful effects on human health due to the inhalation of dangerous particles which are present in air.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the topic by identifying reduced air pollution as a benefit and mentioning effects on individuals and businesses, so the response is relevant. However, the position on whether the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages is not consistently clear: the opening says the development is beneficial, while the conclusion mainly describes flying as both comfortable and harmful without directly weighing the two sides. Several points are also under-developed or unclear. For example, the discussion of people travelling abroad does not explain specifically how reduced flights would affect businesses, and the example about holidays does not establish why the disadvantages outweigh the environmental gains. State your judgement clearly and support each side with more precise cause-and-effect reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and disadvantages, and a conclusion, which gives it some basic organisation. The reader can generally identify the intended topics. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are loosely connected or repeated. In the first body paragraph, the move from air pollution to vehicle costs and then to buses and bicycles is not clearly explained. The second paragraph shifts between business travel, family holidays, and pollution without showing how these points relate to the comparison in the question. Linking words such as “Although,” “However,” and “For example” are used, but sometimes do not express the relationship accurately. Organise each paragraph around one main claim and connect examples directly to it.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “air pollution,” “climate condition,” “carbon,” and “business,” and some of these terms help communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and many word choices, collocations, and spellings are inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Phrases such as “taking interest in fly,” “comfortable zone for traveling,” and “aeroplane travels” are not natural ways to express the ideas. Spelling errors such as “vheciles,” “bussinesses,” and “enviroment” also reduce clarity. Build a more reliable set of expressions for aviation and its impacts, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer precise phrases such as “reduce air travel” and “lower carbon emissions.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional-style explanation and clauses introduced by “because” and “when.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to form more complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in examples such as “people are preferd” and “it mean thay creats”; articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “a comfortable but also dangerous for enviroment.” Several sentences run together or begin with lowercase letters after full stops, which makes the boundaries between ideas unclear. These recurring errors can make the reader work to interpret your meaning. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation.
