Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely believed that a number of an individuals have decided to the decrese the number of flights they take every years to provides some benefits for our environment where we lived. From my prospectives,i agree with this statements because it provide various advantages to our environment.
On the one hand, there are numerous of advantage of it. One of them is that it reduces the amount of Air pollution which is the most considering factor for pollution because due to Air pollution our environment get worse day by day.For example, an aeroplane which produced high number of carbon doixide during flying so if the persons reduced the number of taking flights then the airline company also reduced the number of flights.Another point which is worth considering is that it helps in the growth of some other travelling business in this way that if person start travelling by using electric car or metro then by doing so it also save our environment as well the other business.
As everyone knows every coin has two sides s in the same way there are also some demerits of reducing the number of flights. One of them is that Airline company decrease the number of opportunities to balance their financial condition in this way is that if persons reduced the number of taking flights then in this condition the company also reduced the number of staffs who is currently working in that company to balance the financial condition of that airline company.
In conclusion, the points mentioned above demonstrates that there are numerous merits of reducing taking flight which outweigh the demerits for individuals and businesses.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that reducing flights benefits the environment, and you include relevant points about air pollution and possible effects on airline employment. However, the task asks whether the environmental benefits outweigh disadvantages for both individuals and businesses. Your discussion mainly explains environmental benefits and one business disadvantage; the effects on individuals are not really addressed, and the comparison is asserted rather than demonstrated. The point about electric cars and metro services is relevant but needs clearer explanation of how it follows from fewer flights. To strengthen the response, discuss specific consequences for travellers as well as businesses, then weigh these against reduced emissions and explain why one side is more significant.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “Another point,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to track because several ideas are joined into long sentences, and links between claims are not always explicit. For example, the move from fewer flights to growth in electric-car or metro businesses needs a clearer explanation. The conclusion repeats the general position but does not bring the comparison together. Use shorter, more clearly organised sentences and develop one main point at a time, with precise references between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “air pollution,” “carbon dioxide,” “financial condition,” and “opportunities,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “a number of an individuals,” “from my prospectives,” “most considering factor,” and “demerits.” Repetition of “number of flights” and “environment” also limits flexibility. Aim to use accurate collocations and vary key terms, such as referring to “flight frequency,” “emissions,” or “the aviation industry.” Check spelling and word forms carefully, especially in topic vocabulary, so your ideas are expressed more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if persons reduced the number of taking flights then…” and clauses introduced by “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to read. For instance, “it provide various advantages” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “the company also reduced the number of staffs who is currently working” contains problems with tense and agreement. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and full stops. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses; proofread specifically for agreement and verb forms.
