Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays, some people have decided to fly less often or stop flying completely. Although this decision can cause some problems for people and businesses, I believe that the benefits for the environment are greater than the disadvantages.
To Comments with, the Main benefits of flying is less its protect the environment from the pollution .Airlines and planets produce the harmful gases that effects on global warming. If citizen travel less they can save their money and time which is also helpful for healthier and cleaner and makes environment more friendly.
Secondly , Flight less creats some problem for individuals and businessman because they are travel more to meet their families friends and client's which is more important for them. They lose the money and time . Some students go for studies in abroad and paid a husband amount there and getting their degrees. However, if a huge amount of people travelling with others its create issues for the airlines and create pollution.
I closed my statement with it , flights less beneficial for the environment and its a important for the health and reduce the pollution . If We avoid the extra travel its also helpful for our country and others citizens because it reduces the noise and provides a neat and clean surrounding..

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear view in the introduction: environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages, and the conclusion repeats this position. You also mention relevant effects, including pollution and the inconvenience of travel for families, clients and students. However, the response only partially develops the task: the environmental case is asserted rather than explained, and the disadvantages are listed without showing their wider impact on individuals or businesses. The example about students studying abroad is difficult to connect to the argument. The response is 214 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum; this limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. Develop both sides with specific examples and clearer reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: an introduction, a paragraph about benefits, a paragraph about disadvantages, and a concluding statement. The opening and closing also make your overall position identifiable. However, progression within the body paragraphs is difficult to follow, and the links between points are often unclear. For example, the benefits paragraph moves from pollution to saving money and time without explaining how these points connect. Phrases such as “To Comments with” and “I closed my statement with it” do not function as clear transitions, while “Secondly” does not clearly signal the shift from benefits to disadvantages. Use one main idea per paragraph, arrange supporting details in a logical order, and choose accurate linking phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “pollution,” “global warming,” “airlines,” and “environment,” so the reader can recognise the subject of the essay. However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or unclear word choices make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “planets” where you appear to mean “planes,” “a husband amount” for a large amount, and “flights less” for flying less. There are also spelling errors such as “creats” and “client's.” Aim to use precise collocations and check spelling and word forms. Repeating “environment” and “pollution” can also be reduced by using suitable alternatives such as “emissions” or “air quality.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a concession in “Although this decision can cause some problems…” and a conditional idea beginning “If citizen travel less.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “the Main benefits of flying is less” has problems with sentence structure and subject–verb agreement, while “the harmful gases that effects on global warming” contains an incorrect verb form and construction. Articles, plurals and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “a important” and “If We.” Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles and sentence boundaries.
