Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response gives a relevant position: you state that reducing flights could negatively affect individuals and businesses, and you begin to explain the effect on company revenue and countries reliant on visitors. However, the task asks you to weigh these disadvantages against environmental benefits, and the environmental side is not discussed at all. The argument is also incomplete: the final sentence stops before the point about visitor-dependent economies is explained, and there are no examples or developed reasons. The response contains 97 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250 words. To improve, address both sides, make a clear judgement about which outweighs the other, and support each main idea with explanation and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening gives your view, followed by a paragraph introduced with “On the one hand”. Linking expressions such as “for instance” and “in addition” also show an effort to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the second paragraph ends mid-sentence, and the opposing side of the argument is absent. Some links are not clearly attached to complete ideas, so the reader cannot see how the points develop or lead to a conclusion. Use separate paragraphs for the environmental benefits and the disadvantages, complete each explanation, and finish with a conclusion that directly answers the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “environment”, “business”, “companies revenues” and “economy depend on the number of visitor”, which helps convey the general topic. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are frequent, as in “nember”, “plan”, “flyting” and “prespective”. Several phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “a decrease on business” and “stop flying together”. This limits precision and makes parts of the response harder to understand. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations; for example, use “air travel”, “reduce the number of flights”, “business revenue” and “countries that rely on tourism”.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both a longer opening sentence and a contrastive structure with “On the one hand”, so there is some effort to vary sentence forms. However, control is inconsistent. Examples include “Every years huge number of people travel” and “a several countries which their economy depend”, where agreement, articles and clause structure are problematic. The final phrase is incomplete, leaving the sentence unfinished. Commas and spacing around punctuation are also inconsistent. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise forming complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement and articles, and check that dependent clauses are attached to a main clause before submitting.
