Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many people argue that by reducing or stop travelling by an airplane there will be many benefits to the environment, while others believe that buisness owners or people whom job is linked to travel may get affected. I believe that the government should look for sustainable energy sources and implement rules that benefit the environment as trade between the countries should not be stopped.
The individuals who work as driver, pilot and cabin crew or those who work with travel agencies their job is linked transport and earn depending upon the number of individuals traveling also many people travel in order to study abroad or to find a better career opportunity and some travel to explore different cultures. For instance, the number of students travelling to European countries from Pakistan over the past years has exponentially increased. Although, reducing the use of transport vehicles the carbon emission reduces. This not only benefits the environment but also the situation of harsh climate change that we are facing today. It would also improve as ozone layer would not get damaged and plants would be able to grow healthy.
Moreover, trade among countries could not be stopped as the resources that a country lacks, it imports from its neighbours. For example, Pakistan imports its mangoes to other countries and exports tea leaves which are not abundent in this country. Buisness owners and the government officials also travel by plane to attend meeting in different nations which is also a sign of trust and mutual relationship. TheGovernment should look in to energy sources such as renewable energy electric cars, buses and trains also create policies to make this form of transport cheap and easily acceccible.
In conclusion, reducing the number of times you fly or stop flying is not practical in this era as it is essential for many individuals whom livelihood depends on it. In contrast government should implement policies that make transport through electric vehicles in approach of every individual. This would not only benefit the environment but aslo buisnesses would not be at any disadvantage.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view: you argue that reducing flights can help the environment, but that stopping air travel is impractical and alternatives should be developed. Relevant examples include employment in aviation and travel, students travelling from Pakistan, and international trade. However, the environmental benefits are asserted more than explained, and the link between fewer flights and improvements to the ozone layer is unclear. The discussion of trade also shifts towards transport generally, rather than examining how reduced flying specifically affects businesses. To strengthen the response, compare the scale of environmental gains with the practical costs for individuals and businesses, and develop each example to show how it supports your judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to two supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position can be followed. Connectors such as “For instance,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal stages in the argument. However, the progression within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt: the first body paragraph moves from aviation jobs to students, then to emissions and climate change without clearly linking these points. The opening also introduces a government-policy solution before the argument has been established. Some references, such as “this form of transport,” are not fully precise. Group related points together and use clearer links between claims, examples, and their relevance to the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “carbon emission,” “harsh climate change,” “renewable energy sources,” and “mutual relationship,” which allows you to discuss environmental and economic effects. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “buisness,” “abundent,” and “accecible.” Some expressions are awkward or imprecise, such as “in approach of every individual” and “the situation of harsh climate change.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the main ideas, but they reduce precision and naturalness. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for discussing transport, emissions, employment, and accessibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “while” and a conditional idea about what would happen if transport emissions fell. The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “by reducing or stop travelling” mixes verb forms, while “people whom job is linked to travel” uses an incorrect relative pronoun and possessive structure. The sentence beginning “The individuals who work as driver, pilot and cabin crew” also needs clearer plural forms and punctuation. There are some run-on or awkwardly joined ideas, particularly in the final body paragraph. Aim for accurate parallel structures, check subject–verb agreement and articles, and divide long sentences where necessary.
