Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some individuals belive to reduce the number of times they fly over or even stop flying altogether is beneficial for enviromental development which can outweigh the disadvantage for inviduals and businesses. I strongly agree with this because the aeroplanes cause enviromental pollution which effect environment.
One of the main reason i strongly belives that, aroplanes cause environmental pollution, the usage of resourses, global warming and many others major issues, this is beacuse they burn large ammount of fuel every minute. the pollution caused in air can be reduced, for instance, people travelling short distance can use other resourses, such as, train, bus and car instead of aeroplanes. which may be a more environmental friendly than aeroplanes also consume less fuel than aeroplanes.
however, flying also have some disadvantages for inviduals and bussinesses. people can find out it more diffisult to travel accross cities or countries to meet with relatives. Addionally, businesses also get effected, because to connect with global market it is essential to connect with client overseas and understand their requirements.
Despite the disadvantages, the major issue nowadays world is facing is global warming, for inviduals there's many other resources are avaible, such as: trains and buses they can travel through it. While businesses can also compromise with meetings, there many advanced technology availabe, such as: Online meetings, online presentations and many more.
In conclusion, I strongly belive that despite of disadvantages for inviduals and businesses it do not outweigh to compromise with enviroment. Many solutions are avaible for every problem so, keep our earth on first place.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I strongly agree”) and conclusion, and you address both the environmental benefits and the disadvantages for individuals and businesses. The points about fuel use, alternative transport, overseas clients, and online meetings are relevant. This meets the core task requirements, while the clear stance and range of relevant points show some qualities beyond a basic response. However, several ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, you say trains and buses use fewer resources, but do not explain when they are practical alternatives, and the business impact is only briefly described. Develop each main point with a specific example or clearer explanation, and make the comparison of benefits and disadvantages more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, paragraphs on environmental benefits and disadvantages, a paragraph weighing the arguments, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow your position. You also use linking expressions such as “however,” “despite,” and “in conclusion.” At times, though, connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence of the second paragraph is difficult to follow, and “which may be a more environmental friendly…” is left as a fragment. The final body paragraph repeats the alternatives already mentioned rather than clearly advancing the comparison. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s purpose, connect examples directly to claims, and check that pronouns such as “it” have clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “global warming,” “fuel,” “global market,” and “online meetings,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less precise. Examples include “environmental development” where you mean environmental protection or improvement, “resources” for transport options, and “businesses also get effected.” Misspellings such as “belive,” “enviromental,” and “availabe” are noticeable. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling carefully; also choose words that express the intended relationship, such as “emissions” rather than the broad “pollution” when discussing aircraft fuel.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “Despite the disadvantages” and a reason clause with “because.” The overall meaning can usually be followed, but control is uneven, and faulty sentence construction sometimes makes relationships unclear. For example, “Some individuals belive to reduce…” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “One of the main reason i strongly belives that…” has problems with agreement and clause formation. The sentence beginning “which may be…” is also incomplete. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation. Breaking overloaded sentences into two well-formed sentences would improve accuracy without limiting your ideas.
