Student answer (Band 5.0)

This decition is good for environment but not the perfact answer for this case. We all know the environment is indenger for our wrong constant bad dicitions.

The biggest thrate to our enviroment is not flying but constantly burning focil fule. Most of the world don't know about this thing.

At begain with this decition has a point but it's not the proper answer for right know , most of the world thing that if thay stop using of flying they might save the world but countrys like Bangladesh are the main reason why this mind sate are failling in the first place. Secoundly most of the world deppends on air-plane to cover vast distrances . If everyone stop flying the bussiness will fall a part .

To explain about disadvantages we have to talk about overseas bussiness owners who fully depands on fly to look out of their bussiness. if they stop the cost of travle would surpeace their limitaion .

More than 1 million cerw deppands on this bussiness and over 10 million pepole connected with it. If people fully stop using this plat from the bussiness will colaps and all of them lose their lively-hood.

Last but not the list to imagain people stop travling by fly is not prattical and the deppandance on this spacifice platfrom is unimagenable.

To save the environment pepole should stop using focil- fule like without driving pratiole veicle everyone should us electric cars and contribute ot save the earth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You take a position that reducing flights is not the best environmental solution and explain several disadvantages, including effects on overseas business and employment. However, the task asks whether the environmental benefits outweigh those disadvantages, and your response gives little explanation of the benefits of flying less or a direct comparison of the two sides. The claim that fossil-fuel burning is a greater threat is relevant, but it is not supported with an example or clear reasoning; the reference to Bangladesh is also difficult to understand. The conclusion shifts to electric cars without resolving the comparison. The response is 248 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum. Develop both sides and state clearly which outweighs the other.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: you begin with a general position, then discuss the threat from fossil fuels and the possible effects on businesses and workers, before ending with a suggestion about electric cars. Basic signposting such as “Secoundly” and “Last but not the list” helps indicate sequence. However, the progression is not consistently clear: the Bangladesh point is not linked to the argument, and the final paragraph introduces a new solution rather than drawing the discussion together. Several ideas are crowded into one paragraph, while the business and employment points repeat the same concern. Use clearer paragraph divisions, connect each example explicitly to your position, and use a conclusion that answers the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “environment,” “fossil fuel,” “overseas business owners,” and “livelihood,” and some phrases communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors make the text difficult to read, for example “decition,” “indenger,” “thrate,” and “deppandance.” Some word choices or combinations are unclear, such as “cover vast distrances,” “surpeace their limitaion,” and “this mind sate.” Repetition of “stop,” “business,” and “flying” also limits precision. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations; for instance, explain whether you mean that travel costs would exceed a business’s budget rather than relying on the unclear phrase “surpeace their limitaion.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use mostly simple statements and make some attempts to join ideas with clauses, as in “if they stop the cost of travle would…” and “If everyone stop flying…”. These attempts show an effort to express cause and consequence, but the structures are often faulty: conditional clauses need accurate verb forms, and the main clauses need clear subjects and verbs. There are also agreement and article problems, as in “most of the world don’t know” and “the bussiness will fall a part.” Punctuation is inconsistent, with long sentences joined by commas and missing sentence boundaries. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled conditional and complex structures.
