Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people have decided to decline the number of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether. It has a good impact on environment and this has not outweight the disadvantages for individuals and businesses.
Due to reduction in flights the prices for the flight also decrease and the consumption of fuel also reduce to a significant level. It really has a good impact and very beneficial for our environment. It reduce the air pollution and the quality of air also enhance. Although it has no obvious effect on individuals and businesses. Businesses run very well in native countries also and we also promote local brands in this way.
In this way, people only travel and fly who needs really and there will be a decline in useless trips and tours. Some just fly for the fun and it can increase the cost of flights and airports often remain crowded and congested. Those who fly five to six times in a year have to reduce it to only twice a year. We should not stop flying at all but use it in a limit. As the saying goes; "Every thing works, works best when it is under controll". Because of this, people also start to invest and enhance the local domstic public means of transportation.
In conclusion, I personally believe that the reduce in flights not effect any individuals and businesses at all. In fact, it has is beneficial for our envirnoment and those who really needs to fly can fly easily.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear view that reducing flights benefits the environment and that flying should be limited rather than stopped. You also mention possible effects on businesses and individuals, such as promoting local brands and developing domestic transport. However, these points are brief and sometimes do not directly answer whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages: the claim that businesses are unaffected is asserted rather than supported, and the disadvantages for individuals receive little attention. The response is also below the required minimum: it contains 241 words, with 13 words copied from the prompt excluded. Develop the comparison with specific examples and explain why the environmental gains are more important than the costs to travellers and businesses.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to environmental effects, then travel habits and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Although,” “In this way,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is not always clear: the opening says the development “has not outweight the disadvantages,” which conflicts with the later claim that it is beneficial, and the paragraph about fewer unnecessary trips shifts quickly to crowded airports and domestic transport. Some connections are mechanical or unclear, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier claims. Organise each body paragraph around one main comparison, use clearer references between sentences, and make the position consistent from the introduction onward.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “air pollution,” “fuel,” “crowded and congested,” and “public means of transportation,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less precise. For example, “decline the number” is not a natural collocation, “native countries” does not clearly express the intended meaning, and “domstic” and “envirnoment” are misspelled. Repetition of “good impact” and “beneficial” also limits variety. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing environmental effects, travel demand, and economic consequences, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a few different sentence forms, including a concession beginning “Although” and a relative clause in “people only travel and fly who needs really.” However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to interpret. Examples include “the consumption of fuel also reduce,” “It reduce the air pollution,” and “those who really needs to fly,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. The opening comparison is also grammatically unclear, and punctuation around the quotation is not well controlled. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete sentence structures first, then use a wider range of complex sentences while checking each clause for a clear subject and verb.
