Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, a growing number of people choose to reduce air travel or avoid flying completely to protect the environment. From my perspective, although this trend negatively affects businesses and individuals, the environmental benefits are far more significant.
On the one hand, lowering the frequency of flights brings substantial benefits to the environment. However, peple are offently uses planes for their needs they go anywhere by plane. Lot's of problems occurs such as carbon dioxide in terms global warming is the thing which may be affect our environment. If me and we decrease the usages of plane it would be better for the environment which will affect not only save our atmosphare but also could people inhale some fresh air. One another problem is that aiirport sides have a lot infrustures and lot bulidings and people who lived in the areas that could be occurs several types of nouce pollution which also affect children and elderly peple, if we remove the airport from this place and built a new airport some others place where people are not live than it is going to be fascinating for our socity and environment.
On the other hand, disadvantagement of businesses & economy, if aviation and tourist industries which is rely on tourists who are visiting lot of places travel by plane which also create a pressure on economic crisis and lot of workforce where emplyer were doing their job they can also affect. another problem is lot of international clients who are deal face to face business they can also bring the problems. However one individuals who are meet their reletives or parents who live several places llike, the Uk, Austrailia or America lot's of other nations which will face a trouble and time consuming occurance. Lot of people who are going to travel or visiting some another place they may be also face a problem.
In conclusion, although reducing flights may cause difficulties for businesses and individuals. the environmental benefits, such as reduced carbon emissions, are far more crucial for the planet's future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion: you believe the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages. You also address both sides, mentioning emissions and noise pollution as environmental gains, and effects on tourism, employment, international business and family visits as disadvantages. However, the discussion only partly develops the task. Several points are difficult to interpret or are not clearly linked to reducing flights—for example, the suggestion to remove and rebuild airports shifts attention from flying less, while the economic effects are asserted without explaining their scale or giving a concrete example. Develop fewer points more fully, and explain directly why the environmental gains outweigh the specific costs to individuals and businesses.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and disadvantages, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help readers identify the two sides, and the final sentence returns to your position. Within the body paragraphs, however, ideas often run together, and the progression is not always clear. The environmental paragraph moves from emissions to fresh air, then airport construction and noise without clearly showing how each point connects. The disadvantages paragraph similarly shifts between tourism, employment, business meetings and relatives. Use shorter, clearly focused units and link each supporting explanation explicitly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “carbon dioxide,” “global warming,” “noise pollution,” “aviation,” and “international clients.” These choices show awareness of the subject, but control is limited: frequent spelling and word-form errors, such as “atmosphare,” “infrustures,” “disadvantagement,” and “emplyer,” make parts of the response difficult to read. Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “airport sides,” “pressure on economic crisis,” and “time consuming occurance.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than longer phrases whose meaning is unclear. Proofread spelling and check whether each noun and verb form fits the sentence.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, including “although this trend negatively affects businesses and individuals” and the conditional “If … we decrease … it would be better.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries frequently make meaning hard to follow. For example, “people are offently uses planes” combines an incorrect verb form with a subject–verb mismatch, while “Lot's of problems occurs” has agreement and punctuation problems. Several sentences also join multiple ideas without clear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; check subject–verb agreement and punctuation when editing.
