Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, world is becoming a busy place due to development in all the aspects including airlines. The number of flights are increasing continuously. However, Some people decided to reduce the number of times they fly every year or stop flying whole family or team altogether. It has plenty of advantages as well as the disadvantages.
There are numerous advantages of reducing the number of fly times. The major advantage of declining the amount of flights is to decrease greenhouse gas emission, which is really good for the air quality. At the same time, it reduces noise pollution too. The greenhouse gas emmision is increasing gradually due to human activities, which is badly influence on the environment. It leads to increase the temperature and raise see water level. These problems will slowly destroy eco-system. Reducing the number of times people fly every year will help to recuce above mentioned problems by decreasing the greenhouse gas emission. Meanwhile it reduces the annual fuel consumption. IIn that way, world's natural fuel can be saved for the consumption of the future generation. Furthermore, if people do not travel every year, they can save money too.
On the other hand, reducing the number of flying times can badly affect on individuals as well as businesses. For instance, it can affect on the economy of the airline as well as the job security of employees. Airlines can not be maintained due to recuction of income. Moreover, tourism industry can be affected by this problem. If people do not travel, people who build up their income from tourism industry may collapse. It can affect individuals quality of life as well as the economy of the country.
In conclusion, reducing the number of times people fly every year has numerous benefits to the environment outweigh the disadvantages for individuals and businesses. However, people should wisely look in to this crisis and should balance situation properly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and state a clear overall view: the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Relevant benefits include lower greenhouse-gas emissions, less noise pollution and reduced fuel use, while the opposing paragraph considers effects on airlines, employees and tourism. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that tourism-dependent people “may collapse” is unclear, and the disadvantages are not weighed directly against the environmental gains. The conclusion repeats your position but does not explain why the benefits are more significant. To strengthen the response, develop one or two examples in more detail and make the comparison between environmental gains and personal or business costs explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement, with an introduction, a paragraph on environmental benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. This makes the main line of argument easy to follow. You also use signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” to mark shifts in direction. However, some links are mechanical or unclear: “At the same time” and “Meanwhile” introduce related points without showing their precise relationship, while “These problems” refers broadly to several effects. The final sentence also introduces a call for balance that is not developed earlier. Improve progression by grouping closely related effects, using clearer references, and linking each example directly to the argument it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “greenhouse gas emission,” “noise pollution,” “fuel consumption,” “job security” and “tourism industry.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and you attempt less common expressions such as “eco-system.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling reduce precision: “number of fly times,” “badly influence on the environment,” “recuction” and “emmision” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “stop flying whole family or team altogether” and “people who build up their income from tourism industry may collapse.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would make the argument clearer without needing more complex wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex forms, including a relative clause in “which is really good for the air quality” and conditional structures beginning “If people do not travel.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “The number of flights are” has subject–verb disagreement, and “It leads to increase the temperature” has an incorrect verb pattern. Articles and prepositions are also sometimes missing or inaccurate, as in “affect individuals quality of life” and “look in to this crisis.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention too, particularly in “may collapse. It can affect.” Review agreement, verb patterns, articles and possessives, then proofread for spacing and punctuation.
