Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few individuals have decided to less their flight trips that they do annualy or fully stop flying. I belive that marits of this aspect are greater than its demarits and my justification will be provided in upcoming paragraphes along with relevant examples.
On of the major advantage of reducing plane trips is that it will reduce carbon emmision to the environment beacuse airoplane produce large ammount of gas and co2 to the atmosphere that will lead to global warming. However, instead of using plane people should start using buses or train or any other transport facility to travel locally in their country. For example, traveling by train instead of domestic flight will be cheaper and helpfull to environment. As a result, people can save much money as well as damage to the climate will be less.
On the other hand, traveling less by planes will affects business peoples abroad students also traveling by planes will be more comfotable and time saving as compare to local transports, secondly businesses and companies will affect from this by delayes in meetings delivering supplies to other overseas companies. For instense, traveling by train or other transport such as boat will take days so due to that business people or company can not manage their timings for their meetings or supplying products. Consiquently, relation between them will be broken and that will affect countries gbp and people employement.
To conclude, although there are some of the disadvantages of reducing travel by plane how ever by implicating some solutions it can easy to tackle such as video conferences for meetings and cargo ships to supply their products. Whereas, benefits of least travel can save our environment and reduce climate changes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you believe the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages. You address both sides by explaining that flying produces emissions and that reduced air travel could inconvenience businesses and people travelling abroad. The examples of replacing domestic flights with trains and using video conferences or cargo ships are relevant. However, some points are less fully developed than others. The environmental case is mainly about carbon emissions and could explain more specifically how fewer flights reduce pollution or climate impacts. The business disadvantages are also asserted rather than fully illustrated; for example, the effects of delayed meetings or supplies on companies could be explained in more detail. A clearer comparison of the scale of these costs against the environmental gains would strengthen your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, the body paragraphs consider benefits and disadvantages, and the conclusion returns to your position and suggests solutions. Examples generally appear alongside the points they support. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The second body paragraph begins with “On the other hand” but combines effects on students, business travel, meetings, supplies, and national employment in a long sequence, making the progression difficult to follow. “As a result” and “Consequently” help signal relationships, but some links need clearer explanation. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, use sentence breaks to separate supporting points, and make references such as “this” or “that” clearly identify the idea being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “carbon emission,” “global warming,” “domestic flight,” “video conferences,” and “cargo ships.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main argument, but the range and control are limited, and noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “less their flight trips,” “merits,” “airplane produce,” and “countries gbp.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “damage to the climate will be less” and “business peoples.” Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for emissions, travel alternatives, and economic consequences would help you express your ideas more clearly and flexibly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “although there are some of the disadvantages … by implicating some solutions it can easy to tackle.” However, several sentence patterns are faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries can make parts difficult to read. For example, “airplane produce” needs a plural subject or singular verb, while “traveling less by planes will affects” has an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “On the other hand” also joins several ideas without clear grammatical boundaries. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms. Clearer punctuation would make your complex ideas easier to follow.
