Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response begins to address the topic by linking fewer flights with lower emissions and mentioning costs and safety, but it does not answer the central question: whether environmental benefits outweigh disadvantages for individuals and businesses. No clear position is stated, and the final sentence, “On the other hand, it is undeniable that getting flights,” is unfinished, so the disadvantages are not explained. The examples about fuel prices and alternative transport are relevant starting points, but they are brief and not developed into reasons or evidence. The response also falls short of the required 250 words, leaving the task substantially incomplete. To improve, state your view directly, discuss environmental benefits and practical disadvantages, and support each with developed examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise ideas: the opening introduces the topic, the next paragraph gives reasons for reducing flights, and “On the other hand” signals a contrast. However, the response has no completed conclusion or developed opposing paragraph, and it ends mid-sentence, so the overall progression is incomplete. Connections between points are sometimes unclear; for example, the move from rising fuel prices to flight-related danger is abrupt, and “For example” introduces a comparison that is difficult to follow. Linking phrases such as “Moreover” and “On the other hand” show awareness of cohesion, but they cannot replace clear sequencing. Use separate paragraphs for benefits, disadvantages, and your conclusion, with each paragraph focused on one main idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “carbon emissions,” “environmental pollution,” “inflation,” and “budget,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also attempts at more specific terms such as “fossil fuels” and “public transport.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning harder to understand, as in “bussiness,” “sevral,” “emmisiions,” and “ancidents.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “getting less flights” and “loss the life threat decreased.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “take fewer flights,” “flight accidents,” and “reduce the risk of death” to express these ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “Due to rising prices” and a conditional example beginning “if a person or a company member…”. However, control is inconsistent, and several sentence structures are incomplete or difficult to follow. “Because due to inflation ticket price is rising day by day” is a fragment, while “if a person or a company member use his own vehicle or public tranport is will be less expensive” contains problems with clause structure, agreement, and the verb phrase. The final sentence is also unfinished. Use complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and tense. For example: “If a person uses a car or public transport, the journey may cost less than flying.”
