Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays several people have made up their mind to redundant the number of times they used airplane alongwith to decline flying altogether. This rejection become beneficial to the environment whereas for the individuals and businessess, it creates many obstacles.

First and foremost, though the rejection of using airoplane plays a privotal role to keep the envirnment safe, there are plenty of disadvantages renders for peoples and businessess. Most importantly, by using airpath or fly saves plenty of time. People can get on time from one place to another by using air transport. For an instance, international issue or any one who need medical emergency in different country, can easily go there on time by flying. Moreover, it fosters people to communicate physically anywhere in the world. Before airpath, it took several days, sometimes months to reach one place to another, even in the same country. Flying reduce this disadvantage imedietely.

Another major point is travel in any continent. Previousely, there are a few people who can move one continent to another with grat amount of time, so the business were. However, today buinessess runs through all over the world as people can fly within a time and do business with anywhere, even in other continents. Furthermore, flying makes it easier to explore more widely. While flying too much can be a great hinderance for environment, it broaders our opportunities moderatly. As a result, I do not believe the envirnment benfits can outweigh the disadvantages totally, it partially helps. Reducing the number of flying may shine, but stop using will not be blessing.

In a conclusion, it is vivid that the enviromental advantages of stop or reduce the flying method will not totally outweigh the obstacles for individuals or businessess. Reducing th extra or meaningless fly for luxary or show off, can help both of the theory.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a position: you argue that the environmental gains do not fully outweigh the disadvantages, while accepting that reducing unnecessary flights can help. You also give relevant reasons, including time savings, urgent medical travel, international communication and business activity. However, the response only partly develops the comparison asked for. Most of the essay explains why flying is useful, while the environmental benefits are asserted rather than explained; for example, “it partially helps” is not supported with a specific account of how fewer flights benefit the environment. Some examples are also unclear, such as “international issue.” To strengthen the response, explain the environmental effects and weigh them directly against the costs to individuals and businesses, then make your position more precise and consistent.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Moreover” and “Furthermore” help signal additions, and the discussion generally moves from individual travel to business. However, progression is not always clear: the second body paragraph shifts among international business, exploration and environmental effects without fully connecting them. Some linking expressions are repetitive or do not show the relationship between ideas accurately, and the conclusion introduces “luxury or show off” flights without developing this point earlier. Use clearer topic sentences, group related arguments, and make each paragraph build towards the comparison in your position. More precise referencing would also help readers follow what “this rejection” and “both of the theory” refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “environmental benefits,” “air transport,” “communicate physically” and “opportunities.” However, the range is limited by frequent inaccurate word choice, word forms, spelling and collocation, which sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “redundant the number,” “airpath,” “privotal,” “businessess,” and “broaders our opportunities.” Several phrases appear to be direct or imprecise translations, such as “both of the theory” and “the rejection of using airoplane.” Aim for common, accurate collocations before using less familiar expressions: for example, “reduce the number of flights,” “air travel,” and “expand our opportunities.” Proofread spelling and check that each chosen word fits its grammatical and contextual role.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “though,” “while” and “as.” Nevertheless, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to interpret. For example, “This rejection become beneficial” has an incorrect verb form, while “there are plenty of disadvantages renders for peoples” has a faulty clause structure. In “businessess runs,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the sentence beginning “As a result, I do not believe…” joins ideas with a comma where stronger punctuation is needed. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, tense and sentence boundaries.
