Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays, many people believe to reduce the number of times they fly every year or to stop flyning altogether. If quetioned, there are more advantages than being detrimental. The reasons for my preferance are elaborated further.
The foremost reason for my opinion is that the professional persons and may international bisnessment are need to go many time in other countrie during the work. The are depend on the airoplan and it is a coneviont and less time consuming. for instance, many sports person need to go abrod for play international game for many time during year. It is also economical and personal develpomen for nation and personal life also.
In addition to my preferance, many profestional works and polical person are regulary going to out of nation and it is a benificial development for countrie. As a result, it is increase the nubmer of time fly every year. Moreover, workrs are increas and their pay a good salary and wor.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages should not be overlooked such as numerouas number of fying are effect on the environment and pollution also. Heavily useing fossil fluid are decrese purity of air condition. Its is also affect on finaice such as increasing flits need more maintanace and high charges of tickits and airport matrials. The land of airport are increase and higher pay for workers and managment.
to conclude and offer my opinion, althrough the reduce number of times fly every year are not stopping becuase of profesional works and individuls. While goverment should work on environmental benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a general view that flying should not be reduced because it supports professional work, but the response does not clearly answer whether the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages. The opening says there are “more advantages,” without specifying which side, and the conclusion says flying will not stop while governments should act, leaving your comparison unresolved. You mention business travel, sportspeople and pollution, but these points are brief and sometimes unclear; for example, the effect of flights on businesses is not explained, and environmental benefits of reducing flights are not developed. The response is also 243 words, seven words below the 250-word minimum; 13 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop both sides and state a direct, consistent judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and transitions such as “In addition,” “Nevertheless” and “to conclude” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the first two body paragraphs repeat the case for professional travel without clearly connecting each point to the question’s comparison. Some links are unclear, as in “As a result, it is increase the nubmer of time fly every year,” where the relationship between workers’ pay and flight frequency is not explained. The conclusion also introduces a position that does not clearly follow from the earlier discussion. Organise the essay around the benefits of reducing flights and the disadvantages, then use each paragraph to develop one main idea with clear links.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “environment,” “pollution,” “fossil” and “maintenance,” and use some topic-related terms such as “international” and “professional.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to strain understanding: examples include “bisnessment,” “coneviont,” “decrese purity” and “airport matrials.” Several phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “professional persons,” “economical and personal develpomen” and “high charges of tickits.” This limits the precision and control expected for a stronger performance. Build a reliable set of collocations for travel and environmental impacts, and check spelling and word forms carefully so your intended meaning is immediately clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a concession introduced by “Nevertheless” and a concluding sentence beginning “While.” However, sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, and errors frequently make relationships between ideas hard to understand. For example, “the professional persons and may international bisnessment are need to go” has faulty verb construction, while “The are depend on the airoplan” has problems with the subject and verb pattern. Other examples include “it is increase” and “the reduce number of times fly.” Work on basic sentence patterns, subject–verb agreement, verb forms and articles before adding more complex clauses. Aim to make each sentence grammatically complete and clear.
