Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the modern era, there are excessive amount of flights are travelled around the world. Many individuals have decided that they do not need for travel every year. I firmly agree this statement because it is beneficial for environmently development, while it has some cons for business as many people.

One of the significant withdraw is that, individuals have several businesses in the other corner of the country or out of country. Subsequently, they could need to travel by planes and see their business. It is also cause for saving time and meet with people who's involve in their business. If they do not go with time, it can cause for their business. For instance, individuals have excessive amount of businesses far away, where they need to travel by airplane, if they not seen their business in time. Therefore, they can faces the loss of their business and do not see the performence of their business.

Other disadvantage is that, people have lot of their relatives and friends lived in other side of the world where they need for travelling by fly. If they are not gone to meet, they will lose the oppurtunities to saw new environment and meet their relatives. Using less number of time flying is beneficial for environment, but it has several disadvantages for personal growth and for their businesses.

In conclusion, using less flites in every year is beneficial for environmental development, but it can badly effective for their businesses and personal development of people. Therefore, they must be fly two or three time in a year that will be beneficial for their all types of purposes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a position in favour of reducing flights, and you recognise disadvantages for both business and personal relationships. However, the response only partly answers the comparison in the question: it gives little explanation of the environmental benefits, and the disadvantages receive more attention. The business example repeats the general point about travelling to inspect a business rather than showing a specific consequence, while the point about relatives focuses on missed opportunities without weighing these against environmental gains. Your conclusion recommends flying two or three times a year, but this limit is not supported by the discussion. To strengthen the response, explain how fewer flights reduce environmental harm and directly compare that benefit with the practical costs for individuals and businesses.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two paragraphs about disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Therefore,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is limited because the environmental benefit is mentioned briefly but not developed in its own clear line of reasoning. Several sentences repeat the same point about needing to travel for business, and the paragraph about relatives ends with a broad summary rather than a developed example. Some connections are also unclear, such as “If they do not go with time.” Organise the body around a balanced comparison, use each paragraph to develop one main point, and make references between sentences more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “environmental development,” “personal growth,” and “opportunities,” and the reader can generally identify your intended ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to follow. For example, “significant withdraw” does not express a disadvantage, “travel by fly” is unnatural, and “badly effective” does not convey the intended negative impact. Spelling errors such as “flites,” “oppurtunities,” and “performence” also reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable set of topic phrases and check word forms and spelling; for instance, use “drawback,” “travel by plane,” and “negatively affect.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If they do not go… it can cause…” and a contrast introduced by “while.” However, control is inconsistent, and frequent errors in sentence construction and verb forms can make the reader work to understand your meaning. The opening, “there are excessive amount of flights are travelled,” combines incompatible structures; “Many individuals have decided that they do not need for travel” also has an incomplete grammatical pattern. Other examples include “they can faces” and “If they are not gone.” Practise forming complete clauses, subject–verb agreement, and consistent verb forms. More accurate simple sentences would improve clarity before you attempt longer structures.
