Student answer (Band 4.5)
Many people have decided to decrease the number of times they are flying every year or stop flying altogether. In my opinion, it is not beneficial to the environment but it is good for individuals businesses. This kind of developments will definitely outweigh its disadvantages even though people are avoiding to travel all the time to save money and to secure money for the future.
Many people love to travel almost every year to explore different countries and also to learn and experience about different cultures. Some people have to travel almost all time because of their work purposes. For example, cabin crew members they get higher salaries and also have the chance to explore different countries. They have to travel and on the other it's their profession to travel with other passengers and provide service to them.Traveling almost every year is not beneficial for the environment as nowadays they are so many accidents that are happeing due to heavy loads and sometimes due to traffic. This will cause some major issues to the environment such as air pollution, noise pollution and also about safety concern. Some people wanted to avoid traveling because to save money but making those decisions will have no positive outcomes. If a person work as a cabin crew member .
In conclusion, to decrease the number of times that people travel will have some benefuts and drawbacks. However, they are few benefits such as their job to travel this will definitely outweigh the disadvantages. In contrast many people have to think aboput both outcome

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify the topic and give a position, but the response only minimally answers the central question of whether environmental benefits outweigh disadvantages for individuals and businesses. The opening says the change is “not beneficial to the environment” but then claims it “will definitely outweigh its disadvantages,” leaving your view difficult to follow. The discussion of cabin crew travel is relevant to employment, yet it does not explain the effects on businesses or compare these with environmental gains. Pollution and safety are mentioned, but the environmental benefits of flying less are not developed. The final paragraph repeats the unclear comparison rather than resolving it. State a consistent position and support both sides with specific, relevant explanations and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, a main paragraph and a conclusion, and the ideas generally relate to travel. However, information is not arranged coherently enough to build a clear argument. The main paragraph moves from tourism to cabin crew work, then to accidents and pollution, without explaining how these points connect to the question. Linking phrases such as “For example,” “on the other hand,” and “In contrast” are used, but they do not establish clear relationships between the ideas. The unfinished sentence “If a person work as a cabin crew member” also interrupts the progression. Group related points into paragraphs and use each paragraph to develop one clear claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “air pollution,” “noise pollution,” “cabin crew members,” and “different cultures,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, such as repeated references to travelling “almost every year” and “all time.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, including “happeing,” “benefuts,” and “aboput,” which reduce accuracy. Some collocations are awkward, for example “secure money for the future” and “learn and experience about different cultures.” Aim for more precise language to describe environmental effects, business impacts and personal costs, and check spelling and natural word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response includes mostly simple sentence patterns, with some attempts to join ideas using clauses such as “even though” and “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make parts of the argument difficult to follow. For example, “Many people have decided to decrease … or stop” is followed by “This kind of developments,” where the demonstrative and noun do not agree. In “Some people have to travel almost all time,” an article is missing, and “If a person work” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable, as in “altogether. In my opinion” and “For example, cabin crew members they…”. Practise accurate sentence boundaries, agreement and complete sentence construction before adding more complex forms.
