Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a clear overall view: “the environment benefit are greater than the disadvantages,” and you address both environmental gains and effects on individuals and businesses. However, the response only minimally develops the task. The environmental points—reduced air pollution and protection for future generations—are asserted rather than explained or supported with examples. The disadvantages are also listed briefly, without showing how reduced flying might affect businesses or why alternatives may not work in every case. The response is 140 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250 words. To strengthen your answer, explain each main point with a specific example and develop the comparison that supports your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing sides, and a conclusion. The contrast between “on the one hand” and “on the other hand” helps the reader follow the basic organisation, and the final sentence returns to your position. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited: several points are placed next to one another without explanation, and “Moreover” and “Also” introduce ideas that largely repeat the environmental benefit. The sentence about alternatives appears abruptly at the end of the disadvantages paragraph. Develop a clearer sequence within each paragraph—for example, state a claim, explain its effect, and then give an example—and use linking phrases only where they show a genuine relationship.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “carbon emission,” “global warming,” “customers,” and “online meetings.” There is also some attempt to vary expressions, such as “protect the environment” and “environment benefits.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled forms make the writing less clear, including “travalling airplne,” “vist,” “traval,” and “enironment.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “the reason lost of pollution in air” and “environment benefit.” Aim for accurate collocations and a wider range of precise terms, such as “aviation emissions,” “reduce air pollution,” and “the environmental benefits.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would make your meaning easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use mostly short, simple statements, with a few attempts to connect ideas, such as “although reducing air traval has some disadvantages.” This allows the reader to understand the broad argument, but the range of sentence structures is limited and errors occur frequently. For example, “some individuals are reducing air travel” is followed by “the environment benefit are,” where the noun phrase and verb do not agree; “airplane produce” also needs a plural subject or a singular verb. Articles and sentence boundaries need attention in “That is the reason lost of pollution in air,” while the conclusion needs a complete, correctly punctuated sentence. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and combining clauses, then proofread each sentence for punctuation.
