Student answer (Band 5.0)
Man is a social animal. Trying and experiencing different kinds of decisions for the welfare of society as well as for yourselves is a part of life. However, this is a jaw-droppingly amazing character of any person who constantly tries to do and think something productive for the society.
Every person have to perform something new for the place in which he live there. As I said this, there are probably two classes of people who has decided to minimize their number of fly every year and the other class of people has decided to stop flying altogether. This decision can have a lot of advantages related to environmental affairs, air traffic etc.
Simultaneously, this could have a few disadvantages too as some individuals are forcing yourselves to stop travel perpetually. For example, there could arise a serious sudden complication and or a random meeting outside the country or a far off located city and then at that time this will create a problem for that class of people.
After that, this decision presents a significant amount of advantages to people as well as environment. However, if people stops flying, then automatically air traffic can be controlled because lesser the amount of seats books, lesser will be the flights take off. Secondly, it can become the reason of lesser smoky environment at a significant rate. As smoke controls, air pollution can be reduced too which can become the source of a clean environment to certain limit.
In conclusion, I would say that this decision offers larger benefits than disadvantages and it can prove to be great in near future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view in the conclusion: reducing flights brings greater benefits than disadvantages. You also mention both sides, with possible travel difficulties for individuals and reduced air pollution as a benefit. However, the response addresses the question only partially because the disadvantages for businesses are not discussed, and the environmental case is asserted rather than explained in depth. For example, “lesser smoky environment” and “air pollution can be reduced” repeat a general point without showing how fewer flights would produce wider environmental gains. Develop each side with specific consequences and a relevant example, and make the comparison between environmental benefits and impacts on individuals and businesses explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can identify the main position. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the opening comments about people making decisions do not lead directly into the flight issue, and “After that” does not accurately signal the next point. Linking phrases such as “However,” “Simultaneously,” and “Secondly” are used, but some connections feel mechanical or do not show the precise relationship between ideas. The paragraph about disadvantages also combines several hypothetical situations without developing one clearly. Use topic sentences that directly address the question, group related points, and connect each example to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “environmental affairs,” “perpetually,” and “significant,” and the main meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited in precision, and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural or obscure the intended meaning. For instance, “jaw-droppingly amazing character” is overly informal and does not fit the academic argument, while “lesser smoky environment” and “seats books” are unclear. Repetition of “decision,” “people,” and “advantages” also limits flexibility. Choose direct, topic-specific expressions such as emissions, air pollution, flight frequency and business travel, and check that each phrase is a natural collocation in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if people stops flying,” but complex sentences are often faulty and errors occur frequently. Examples include “Every person have” and “he live,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect, and “two classes of people who has decided,” where the verb does not agree with the plural noun. In “lesser will be the flights take off,” the clause structure is incomplete, while “forcing yourselves” has unclear agreement and reference. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret the point. Practise accurate agreement, complete clause construction and clear pronoun reference, then proofread each sentence for one main grammatical issue.
