Student answer (Band 5.5)
A few people have decided to reduce their fly time every year or even stop altogether to conserve environment. In my view, despite stop flying may result to lose job for individuals but it bring advantage in limited usage of fossile fuel usage and promote local made products.
The main advantage of people stop fly is to decrease in fossile fuel production. For running the plane plenty of fuel is required when everyone stop using them that resulted to decrease of fossile fuel usage. On the otherside, by increasing the local market shops vendors increase their revenue. By promoting local business end up in growth of revenue of country. Also, Airport require hundreds of acers of land where clear of agriculture land take place. When people stop using these will increase the crop area of land. Then the urge to construct airport will decrease.
However, there are also some demerits on the otherside. People will lag in adopting new technologies will result decrease in business. In business new technologies should adopt to compete the world this will be not done when flytime decreased. Many employyes work in airport decreasing flytime may impact on their jobs. Their identity may lost end up to be jobless.
In conclusion, beside advantages there are also drawbacks by endup in jobs and adopting new technologies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a relevant position: reducing flights has environmental and local-economic benefits, while job losses and slower business development are disadvantages. However, the response only partially addresses whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages: the conclusion says there are drawbacks but does not clearly compare their importance or reaffirm which side outweighs the other. Several points are also under-developed. For example, you mention reduced fossil-fuel use and more agricultural land, but do not explain their likely scale or give a concrete example. The response contains 219 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum. Develop each main point with explanation or an example, and make the comparison explicit in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your argument. You also use signposts such as “However” and “In conclusion.” Some connections are mechanical or unclear, though. For instance, “On the otherside” introduces local business revenue without clearly showing how this relates to fewer flights, and “Then” does not smoothly connect airport land use to the preceding point. The conclusion repeats the presence of advantages and drawbacks rather than bringing the comparison together. Use clearer links between cause and effect, and organise each body paragraph around one central idea with supporting explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “fossil fuel,” “local market,” “revenue,” “agriculture land,” and “adopting new technologies.” These choices show some range beyond basic everyday language. However, inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “fly time,” “fossile,” “local made products,” and “identity may lost” are not natural expressions in this context. Repetition of “decrease” and “stop” also limits flexibility. Aim to learn topic-specific phrases as complete collocations, such as “reduce air travel,” “cut carbon emissions,” and “airport employees,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and some attempts at more complex structures, including “despite stop flying may result to lose job for individuals” and “When people stop using these will increase the crop area of land.” However, these complex attempts are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout. For example, “it bring advantage” needs a verb agreeing with its subject, while “Many employyes work in airport decreasing flytime may impact on their jobs” combines ideas without a clear grammatical link. These errors sometimes make the intended relationships difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with clauses such as “Although fewer flights may affect airport jobs, they can reduce emissions,” then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
