Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, majority of people choose to fly in aeroplane for peaceful travelling. Some individuals are decided to overcome they travel in aeroplane every year on anytime or they stop to flying together. However, from my pint of view, this encouragement thorough people the environmental advantages outweigh the drawbacks for individuals and effect the comapnies busniesses growth.

One of significant benefit is reduce the air pollution in the environment because aeroplane burn a large amount of fuel. People these action can help them other individuals to save dangerous health problems. It is benefical for golbal warming to control easily. Moreover, when people less use the air travelling, good affect is less createa greenhouse gas emmisions. It can help proctect the environment fot others. It is golden place for future generation they can enjoy or grow up with clean air environment. As a result, human health is main piriority to control the climate change reduces the health difficulties automatically are less.

On the other hand, this decision have few disadvantages such as people may faces difficulties for international travelling. Some people families are living in other countries it is difficult for meet those people. Moreover, students wish to study abroad but this decision make struggles for completed our dreams. Furthermore, it is another drawback is waste of time in travelling becuase when people may have use to cars, buses or trains long distance journey take time. As a result, it is inconvinent travelling for people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a position that reducing flights brings greater environmental benefits, and you give relevant reasons, including fuel use, pollution and greenhouse-gas emissions. You also address disadvantages for individuals, such as visiting family abroad and studying overseas. However, the response only partially develops the comparison: the effects on businesses are mentioned in the introduction but not explained in the body, and several environmental claims are repeated rather than supported with examples or explanation. The conclusion is also missing, so your overall judgement is not fully reinforced. The response is 7 words below the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, explain how reduced air travel could affect business, develop each main point with a specific example, and add a concise conclusion that directly weighs the benefits against the disadvantages.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph about environmental benefits and a paragraph about disadvantages. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “On the other hand” and “As a result” help signal relationships between points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or joined without a clear logical connection. For example, the environmental paragraph moves from pollution to health, global warming and future generations without explaining each link. Some references, such as “these action” and “this decision,” are unclear or grammatically formed in a way that disrupts cohesion. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, explain it in sequence, and use a final conclusion to complete the overall progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “air pollution,” “fuel,” “greenhouse gas emissions” and “climate change,” which helps communicate your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, as in “peaceful travelling,” “golden place for future generation” and “good affect.” Spelling errors such as “comapnies,” “busniesses,” “benefical” and “emmisions” are noticeable and can slow the reader. Some phrases also repeat general terms such as “people” and “environment” rather than using more precise language. Build a small set of accurate topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations; for instance, describe the impact on companies directly rather than referring vaguely to “businesses growth.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more extended sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures with “because” and “as a result.” However, the range is limited, and attempts at longer sentences often contain errors that make the relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “Some individuals are decided to overcome they travel” and “this decision have few disadvantages,” where verb forms and subject–verb agreement are not controlled. Articles, plurals and sentence construction also need attention, as in “One of significant benefit” and “human health is main piriority to control the climate change reduces.” Practise building accurate sentences with one clear main clause, then add a reason or result using a conjunction. Check agreement, articles and verb patterns when editing.
