Student answer (Band 4.5)
since last two decades people are more using flying mode than trains or buses.peope are more comfortable of using aeroplane for long distaces.but now in recent times people are limited their travelling.they think it is more time consuming and waste of time.like people go on vacation with their families when they have free time and they spent much more time there as a result they waste a lot more money then their own country.also it is also good for environment because when you use least amount of flying mode your less fuel consume and it result in less environmental pollution.but saying that people are uses limited amount of flying mode will hugely effect other factors its not the reality at all.businesses is not totally depended upon these kind of environmental behavior.for example environmental behavior doesnt completely outweigh the disadvantages of indviduals and businessses.because business is entire different thing and we cant relate it with environmental things.if someone asked me about this that development would be benefit for businesses i would say not at all.yes but it can impact indviduals life it will give you more chance to explore yourself your homeland your country and other majestic things which you will not ever seen for example if you are travelling inside the country you will explore beautiful lakes, mountains and rivers etc.its also time saving activities and you also save your money as well.inshort i would say that its totally worth it than flying countries to countries and also time saving activites as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the central issue by mentioning reduced fuel use and pollution, and you give a personal view that travelling within one’s country can offer benefits. However, the position on whether environmental gains outweigh the disadvantages is not consistently clear: you say the change is “good for environment,” but later state it is “not at all” beneficial for businesses without clearly weighing that against the environmental benefit. The discussion of business disadvantages is especially limited, while the points about saving time and money and exploring one’s homeland are asserted rather than explained or supported with a relevant example. To strengthen the response, state your overall judgement directly and develop both sides with specific consequences and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is some movement from the rise in air travel to environmental effects and then to individuals and businesses, and linking expressions such as “but,” “for example,” and “in short” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the response is presented as one long block, so the reader cannot easily distinguish the main points or follow a clear progression. Several ideas are joined loosely or repeated, and references such as “this development” and “these kind of environmental behavior” do not make the relationships between claims clear. Use separate paragraphs for your position, environmental benefits, and disadvantages, then connect each point with precise transitions and explain how it supports your conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “environmental pollution,” “fuel,” “businesses,” and “explore,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “people are limited their travelling” and “less fuel consume” do not express the ideas naturally, while “environmental behavior” is vague in this context. Spelling and word-form errors, including “distaces,” “indviduals,” and “businessses,” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of expressions for air travel and its effects, and check spelling and collocations when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts to combine ideas using clauses, as in “when you use least amount of flying mode your less fuel consume,” and includes conditional phrasing such as “if you are travelling inside the country.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and many attempts at longer sentences contain errors that make the relationships between ideas hard to understand. Examples include “people are more using,” “they are uses limited amount,” and “businesses is not totally depended,” which show problems with verb forms and subject–verb agreement. Missing or inconsistent punctuation also causes several ideas to run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
