IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The given process diagram shows the complete production method of fabric from bamboo. The whole process contain on nine steps. Firstly start from bamboo plant and finish at making products from fabric.

The manufacturing starts from the plant of bamboo. The next step is harvesting in which bamboo plants are harvest from the fields. After that it cutting process is began in which harvested bamboo is cuts into strips. Moreover the strips are crushed to make liquid pulp. Following that next thing is filtration process in which the liquid is filtered to separate the long fibres. Than water and amine oxide is added to soften the fibres. Next step is spin in the phase fibre is spin to make yam from it. Moreover next is weaving process in which the yam is weaved to make good fabric. After that it is ready to make products from it such as shirts and socks and sends to market.
