The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

The diagram illustrates the process by which bamboo is transformed into fabric.

Overall, this is a linear process including nine different stages, starting with cultivating bamboo and ending with the fabric production.

In the initial natural stage, bamboo plants are grown in the spring prior to being hand-harvested by autumn. Once bamboos have been collected, they are cut into strips by a round serrated knife. In the next step, these strips are being crushed to make liquid pulp and then using a filter to separate long fibers from liquid.
