IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The diagram illustrate the process of producing fabrics from bamboo from start harvesting to end make fabrics.

The process include nine main stages starting from beginning and harvesting and end with wave to make fabrics. The process include several steps from passing to bamboo to fabrics

Initially bamboo plants are cultivated in spring and harvested in autumn. After harvested cultivated bamboos cut in to small strips, which are used to crushed to make a liquid pulp. After that pulp is filtered to separate the fibers from pulp.

In the next stage the fibers are softened by adding water and amine oxide the softened material is spun to make yarn which is woven to make a fabrics. Finally this fabrics is used to manufacturing clothing brands such as shirts and trousers.

If we need to make the fabrics than we do all this steps one by one to manufacture the fabrics.
