The chart below illustrate information about

a public library

The diagram below illustrates various processes

required in production of textile from

plant named bamboo by using several

equipments and machinery.

Overall, it is evident that production of

bamboo fabric is a linear process which

requires minimal equipment, starting from

growing of bamboo plant to finally

weaving to make the yarn with is furthur

involved in production of clothes.

To begin with, starting of this process marks

by growing of bamboo in a fertile land

and this cultivation begins in the

season of spring. After the plant is

fully developed it is harvested manually

not by any harvesting machine in

the month of Autumn. To cut this

bamboo plant into strips, a circular

band with spikes of it is used where

sharp bristles helps to cut long bamboo

into small strips. In order to remove

liquid pulp from bamboo, these small pices

are crushed so that solid and liquid can

get seperate and this filtration is performed

by using a long cone shaped

funnel which seperates long fibres from

liquid. The following step involves softening the fibres by adding water and amine oxides into these long fibres obtained. Simultaneously these softened fabric is spinned into yarns so that can be used further for purpose of cloth making, or Also these yarns can be directly selling in the markets or otherwise are weaved to make fabric. Thus, a piece of cloth is obtained.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response generally addresses the task by summarizing the process of fabric manufacture from bamboo. However, the opening statement incorrectly mentions a public library, which negatively impacts the task achievement. The overview is clear, but the details about each step could be better organized and more specific. More comparisons of different stages could also enhance this aspect.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

Coherence and cohesion are apparent throughout the response, with a clear logical flow from one idea to the next. However, some sentences are lengthy and complex, which may confuse the reader. Improvements in paragraph structuring, such as using clear topic sentences and linking phrases, could enhance coherence further. Essential connections between ideas are present but could be more explicitly stated.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used in the response shows some variety, yet there are instances of incorrect word choices and spelling errors, such as "illustrate" instead of "illustrates" and "furthur" instead of "further." Additionally, phrases like "public library" are irrelevant to the task. While the writer does attempt to use some technical vocabulary related to the process, broader and more precise vocabulary would improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammatical range is moderately good with a variety of sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., "is" instead of "are") and improper article usage, which detracts from the overall clarity. Some sentences are overly complex, leading to awkward constructions. More attention to grammar accuracy and sentence variety would enhance the overall effectiveness of the writing.

Overall feedback

Your response provides a clear outline of the bamboo fabric production process but contains several significant issues that affect clarity. Firstly, ensure that your introduction accurately reflects the task; mentioning a public library is confusing. Focus on organizing your thoughts more clearly and using precise vocabulary related to the topic. Additionally, pay attention to grammar and spelling, as errors can hinder understanding. Finally, try to include comparisons or transitions that enhance the flow of your writing and clarify the relationships between different stages of the process.
