Now, the industrial process has been taken firstly filtration process, in this fibers are separated from liquid pulp, then from mixing of water and amine oxide these fibers has been soften.

After it, these fiber is spun to make a yarn, after this weaving process has done to make a fabric, finally after being through all these process in industry the clothes are made for instance T-shirts, socks etc.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response provides a basic overview of the bamboo manufacturing process, identifying the main stages from agriculture to industry. However, the response is under the 150-word minimum, which negatively impacts the score. While the main features are covered, the description lacks detail and precision in explaining the transformation steps. For instance, the transition between the agricultural and industrial phases is somewhat abrupt. To improve, ensure all steps are described with sufficient detail to meet the length requirement and provide a more comprehensive summary of the process flow.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into two paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression from agricultural to industrial stages. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'then' and 'after this'. The logical flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing, such as 'Now, the industrial process has been taken firstly'. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words and transition phrases to connect ideas more fluidly and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety expected at higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'make there strips' instead of 'create strips' and 'soften' used in a way that does not clearly describe the chemical process. The range is limited, and the student relies on basic terminology. To improve, incorporate more specific technical vocabulary related to manufacturing processes, such as 'extraction', 'dissolution', or 'extrusion', and focus on correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with verb tense consistency, such as 'the plantation of bamboo has been taken' (should be present tense for a process) and subject-verb agreement errors like 'there is a nine steps'. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity, such as 'the process that how manufacturing of fabric from bamboo'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring consistent tense usage for process descriptions, and proofreading for subject-verb agreement.
