The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Overall, making bamboo is sequencial and linear process. There are three main important steps; cultivating bamboo, filtering and softening of fibres, and weaving to make a product.

There are required season in some steps. In the beginning, planting bamboo plants during spring and harvesting them once reached the required maturity during autumn. The bamboo are now being cut into strips and crushed to make liquid pulp.

And then, separating long fibres from liquid by using a mechanical process, also known as filtering, will be the next step. After that, the fibres are now soften using a chemical process by adding water and amine oxide . Finally, making a yarn by spinning them into a ball-like figure. The item is now ready for weaving to make a fabric and into a product such as a shirt or a pair of socks.
