The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing the fabric from the bamboo.

Overall, the picture dipicts step by step explaination of the manufacturing process of fabric from the bamboos.

First and foremost, the spring season is best for the growth of bamboo plants so they are plant it in spring. Harvesting of the bamboo plants happens in the autumn season. The harvested bamboos are then converted into strips by cutting them. The strips then crushed in order to make liquid pulp from them. With the help of filter, long fibres are seperated from the liquid pulp.

The fibres which have been seperated from the liquid, is mixed with water and amine oxide for the softening of fibres. Then yarn is made, by spinning the soften fibres. The yarn is converted to the weave for making the fabric. The fabric is then used to make variety of clothes, then those clothes are supplied to different business men in the market for sale.
