The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The following figure illustrates the schematic diagram of manufacturing of fabric from bamboo plant.

The bamboo plant is specifically planted in spring season and ultimately harvested in autumn.After harvesting the bamboo plant, it is cut into strips through a wooden table shaped sharp blades.Consequently the stripes are crushed to make liquid pulp which then undergoes a filtration process to segregate the long fibres from the liquid.The soften fibres are then mixed with multiple substances such as water and amine oxides whereas the mixture is spinned to make a ball shaped yawn.The yawns are supplied to various vendors and brands where they weave it to make a fabric out of it which is then to used to produce the final clothing stuff which is actually made up of the bamboo plant. This way such clothing stuff is made up from bamboo plants and actually reaches the market available for consumers .
