IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing fabric with the help of bamboo.

It can be seen there are 8 kinds of different procedure for converting bamboo into fabric at the beginning bamboo have to be planted which is during the Spring season and it got harvested in Autumn season.

Overall, after planting and harvesting the bamboo in autumn they are cutted down into strips and the strips are crushed to make liquid pulp then the filter separate long fibers from the liquid. Soften fibers are added water and amine oxide.

After all those 6 process it is spin to make yam then through those method it weave to make fabric and with the help of fabrics different kind of clothes are made of whether it is a t-shirt, shirts or socks. Fabric are used in manufacturing many kind of things which are used in daily basis of people life.
