IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given diagram illustrates how bamboo fabric is made. The given 9 steps explain the manufacturing of fabric from bamboo.
Overall, the picture demonstrates the whole process of making fabric. It involves 9 steps, from planting bamboo plants to transform it into complete clothes like t-shirts or socks.
Initially, the farmers simply plant bamboo plants in fields in Spring. After some time in Autumn, the bamboos are ready for harvest. The farmers start harvesting and cut the bamboo with the help of some specialized equipment. Furthermore, the bamboo is cut into very thin strips using a cutter disc. The cutter also crush the strips to make it's liquid plup. Then, a filter is used to separate long fibres from the liquid. As a result of adding water and amine oxide, we will obtain soften fibres. In next step a spinner is used to stretch and spin the soften fabric to make a yam.
Moreover, the collected fibre is weaved to make fabric using machines. So, this fabric is used by various textile industries to produce a variety of clothes, that we wear on daily bases. In this way, at the end we received fabric or clothes made by bamboo.
