The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram below illustrates how fabric is made from bamboo.

Overall, the process contains nine steps starting with planting the bamboo plants in spring and ending with production of various clothing items. However, the main stages involve planting and harvesting the bamboo followed by the preparation of fibres and yarn before final fabric is produced.

The process begins with bamboo being planted in spring season. Once bamboo has grown, it is harvested in autumn. Following this step, the bamboo is cut into strips before being crushed to prepare the liquid pulp. In next stage, the pulp is filtered in which the long fibres are separated from the liquid. After this, the water and amine oxide are added into the fibres to make them soft. Subsequently, the fibres pass through a spinner to make the yarn, the yarn is then woven to prepare the fabric. Finally, the fabric is ready to make variety of clothing items such as socks, t-shirt etc.
