The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given process chart illustrates manufacturing of fabric from bamboo :

Firstly, bamboo plant is planted then is harvested during autumn season after that, is cutted into the strips moving ahead, the wood is cutted into strips after that, strips are crushed in order to make liquid pulp, then the process of filteration takes place in which long fibres are separated from liquid, afterwards fibres are soften by adding water and amine oxide then the thread is spinned in order to make yarn, after that the thread is weaved in order to make fabric at last, cloths for example t- shirts, socks etc are prepared. it is a cyclic process if one of the step is eliminated the whole process will be vanished so each and every step is neccessary for the continuation of the process.
