The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Overall, it is a linear process involving nine steps with no repetition of stages. Additionally, the process commences with plantation of bamboo plants during spring, and culminates with weaving to make fabric.

Initially, bamboo plants are planted during the spring season. Following this, the plants are harvested in autumn. After this, the harvested plants are subsequently cut into strips before being crushed to make a liquid pulp. Once this stage has been completed, the liquid is filtered to separate long fibers from the liquid. After this, the fibers are softened. This softening is done by addition of water and amine oxide to the fibers. Subsequently, the softened fibers are spun to make a yarn. In the penultimate stage, the yarn is weaved to make a fabric, which finally results in the production of shirts and socks that are ready to be distributed to consumers.
