IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram depicts the manufacturing process of fabrics from bamboo.
Overall, this process consists of nine stages before making clothes. The process starts with the plant and harvesting the bamboo tree, and ends with fabric making.
The first step of this process is planting, harvesting, and cutting into strips. Following this, water and amine oxide are mixed with small bamboo pieces to make soft fibres. After that, the long fibres separate from the liquid through the filter.
The next phase of the process is making liquid pulp by crushing strips that make perfect yarn. Finally, spin the yarn into a roll to make a weave that assist to make fabrics. Eventually, from the fabrics our clothes are made.
