The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given diagram illustrate the entire process of making of fabric from bamboo.
The process starts in spring, when the bamboo plant is planted to grow.It grows fully by autumn and gets ready to be harvested.Then it is converted into strips which will get crushed further to get the liquid pulp.It is then filtered to separate long fibres from liquid and then adding water and amine oxide to the into the long fibres to make them soften.Using machines people with certain skills can spin the long fibres so many times untill it gets converted into yarn.Then the yarn gets weaved into making bamboo fabric which is further used to make all kinds of clothes
like socks,t-shirts.
Making of bamboo fabric from bamboo plant is a art that not many people can aquire, The process needs a lot of differently skilled poeple who works together to make a perfect piece of fabric.
