IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram illustrtates the process of making clothing fabrics from bamboo in various steps.
Overall, it is crystal clear that for manufacturing of fabrics from bamboo contain totall nine steps. For making fibers there is also use of amine oxide to make fibers soft for making yarn from it.
In the fist step of making fabric from bamboo is planting bamboo in the Spring season, later harvested in Autumn season which is second step. In the third step bamboo is chopped into long strips with the help of cutter. Afterwards, in fourth step strips are crushed to make liquid pulp from it.Then crushed liquid pulp goes through fifth step in which filter seperates long fibers from it. In sixth step softerned fibers are mixed with water and amine oxide which help to make yarn from it in seventh step. In the eighth step yarn is converted into weaves which is necessary to make cloths from it, In the last step final clothing is made from weaves made up of yarn.
