The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)
The diagram shows the manufacturing process of finished fabric from bamboo.
Overall, the production of bamboo fabric is a linear, nine-steps process. It can be divided into three main parts: growing the bamboo, processing it, and making the final fabric.
The process commence in the spring by planting a bamboo. After it grows and become mature, it is harvested in the autumn. Raw material then cut into small manageable pieces. These pieces are crushed to produce a liquid pulp. The pulp is then filtered to seperate useful fibres from waste and impurities.
Next, filtered fibres are mixed with water and amine oxide to make them soft. The softened fibres are spun to make yarn in the seventh stage.
In the second last step, yarn is weaved to produce finished fabric. Finally different garments are manufactured, including t-shirts and socks.
In summary, manufacturing process of bamboo fabric involves 9 steps which are divided into three phases. The whole process is completed in two seasons; in the spring process initiated and completes in the upcoming autumn season.
