The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Given diagram shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo, all the way from planting, harvest to the converting into proper fabric.

Bamboo is planted in specific areas according to the average temperature and atmosphere of the place. It planted in spring season. Harvest season of the bamboo crops is autumn. After harvesting its crops, it used to be cut from the middle and converted into long strips. Then strips are crushed to make liquid pulp. After getting liquid pulp it passes through a filter to sperate long fibres from liquid. After extracting fibres from the liquid, water and amine oxide added into it, to make fibres soften. Then it spinned using some kind of special equipment and converted into yarm. Yearn used to make fabric by sewing it with hands or machines. After creating the raw fabric then it used to cut into pieces. At the end raw fabric converted by sewing into different shapes of cloth.
